@PSP107 I take it the OP is very young based on the screen name. IDK, I think I grew out of Pokemon over a decade ago.

TV as a whole has turned into reality TV garbage where people become famous for doing nothing. If any well written scripted show gets produced, it's amazing that it lasts past one year, and we're left with the Kardashian blight.

To the OP, I think cartoons are still great, but your tastes change as you get older. I still love cartoons: Venture Brothers, Archer, Adventure Time

Daybreak Game Company (formerly SOE) has their EverQuest TCG, Legends of Norrath. I've been wanting to see that on mobile platforms, especially iPad. Now with the break from Sony, I wonder if this will allow them to port it.

I'd have to vote for the tech demo called Killzone: Shadow Fall. I think even the developers are experiencing franchise fatigue, and should put it to rest. They actually buried the best game mission in the credits; I wouldn't mind an entire game like that...

I'm on the fence about what I would be happy with in terms of length. I think if it keeps me entertained as long as The Last of Us did, I would be happy with that.

@jimmy_russell: I'm sure a lot of people use computers for work to generate income. If you're specifically talking about game-related revenue, you'll have to be more specific. There are a lot of people on Twitch.tv that make money by streaming their console gaming sessions.

I used to pray to Gaben too, but it became such a hot mess building my own PCs. No literally, I had liquid cooling and so many fans in my full tower, but my systems still got so hot that it could heat up a room in winter - not to mention the fan noise.

I don't think I can ever go back, except for some exceptional game that required mouse & keyboard (Star Citizen?). Ultra graphics just doesn't justify sacrificing comfort. The the money that I spent on video cards alone, I now spend on getting consoles for each room.

@moinsyyed: I'm sorry for your loss. Ni No Kuni was one of my favorites, and I can see how that story would affect someone who has lost a loved one.
