Lol....RPG type games tend to have long storylines with lots of side missions/quests. I remember a couple of years back playing my first RPG game which had a very long story. It drove me half-nuts trying to finish it in one go. I was like, "Why can't this darn thing end? What's wrong with this game?" I love RPGs especially fantasy ones, with the exception of The Witcher, which i just can't seem to enjoy but am willing to try again and again.

That's good news. I was afraid Win 7 might still come with some DX10 crap.

Hopefully there has to be a time when every just says "ok, let's just drop XP" and move onto the vista platform.

RaidensTechSupp
I don't know about others but for me, XP to Vista = Not a chance. But XP to Windows 7 = Probably. I'm still making my stand against Vista and the half-assed effort that Microsoft put on it. I'm not at all impressed by DX10 either for now. I'll give it a try when i move on to windows 7.

I was planning on getting the game sometime soon. But if the co-op play is as broken as you say, i think i'll skip it. Co-op was the only thing that got me interested in this game. I just don't trust Treyarch about the rest of the game elements.

Well, RPG-ish and open-ended gameplay fans all probably hated it. I'm not that much into it myself, but i don't think it deserved majority of the bashing it got from some people.

Since I've only played VC and SA, i say go for SA. IMO, VC looked a bit too cartoonish.
