@ssj2los Lol glad to see someone else with the same feelings in regards to Facebore etc? I had so many people saying, "Sign up to it, you will love it?" and I thought where is the harm in trying...? Everyday I was on it for over six weeks and it wasn't down to me enjoying it, it was because I had to do it! If you didn't, texts and calls came in asking "Why didn't you add me as a friend?" and "How come you didn't help me water my crops?" I know this maybe sounds the same as I said last night but I left a couple of important points out, which are... Almost every site you go on to nowadays, want you to add them to you're page and "Like them." Live T.V. shows now, can't just get on with their show without plugging their Facebook page every 10 mins! Even the bloody news is at it now! WHY? Social Networking Sites aren't fun, they are a CHORE!! The death of them can't come quick enough?
@ssj2los Yeah exactly mate! You know what kind of crap I got from friends and relatives because I didn't add them to my page or didn't challenge them in a game etc.? A Sh*te load!! It was peer pressure that made me get onto Facebore in the 1st place and I started getting into it but I soon realised that all my time on line was taken up with updating it everyday! The funny thing is, I checked out of it, soon after I started it and what an uproar from people to start it up again and the funny bit is... One mate sent me a virtual beer everyday on it and he was upset because he knew I couldn't send any back, but the thing is... we work in a BAR together! I'd rather have a real beer, wouldn't you?
@ssj2los Have you seen the South Park episode called "You have 0 friends," which is all about that same thing you were just saying in yer last post? I am with you on that front too! I really don't care about looking at the current status of some dip-sh*te I went to school with, of which I couldn't stand when I was there! I had a Social Networking page for about six weeks until I gave it up. The reasons I gave it up is almost identical to that South Park episode I mentioned. It is never ending nonsense that will die out sooner rather than later... hopefully? I know this has nothing to do with this article but oh well...
Well FINALLY!! I was starting to think that everyone in the "Gaming Magazines and Game Websites," was too afraid to say anything against game publishers and developers? Thankfully, I have read this article here, slamming this ongoing scam of "Pre-orders, Incentives and On-line Passes..." So at last, a real honest view from someone who appears to feel the same way, that we all are? With the regards to forking out a fortune, for only a partially complete game? If it is second hand sales the "Money Men," are worried about, then why not just include a code with the games, so that it can only be accessed once? That is all that is needed! If you buy the game 2nd hand, then you need to buy the code too and in that case, you'd be better off buying a brand new retail one? Better and fairer idea, no? But it isn't just about that is it? Its about squeezing as much as possible out of the one product, that is on sale, for as much money as they can get? Its about time WE ALL STOPPED PLAYING INTO THEIR HANDS? I am or was, just as bad, but no more! Not after getting burned a couple months back... I too like DLC, as long as it is extra content? Not content locked off from the main game!
Errr well I just scored a 42!? Figure that one out Slartibartfast? As it turns out though, my score of 42 means I am also the living answer to... "Life, The Universe and Everything!"
This game was ground breaking and full of sheer brilliance! I understand why people were disappointed in it but to be fair to the developers, they did say quite often that this was a different type of game (Not GTA style) to what Rockstar usually develop. I went into this, knowing what to expect and I wasn't disappointed, I had underestimated it massively! It is one of the few games in my collection that I actually wanted to play, until I unlocked all of the achievements. Some have been complaining of overheating on the xbox? This wasn't a problem for me. If anybody wanting to play this and are worried about the game or console(360) overheating, then I suggest trying to install it to your hard drive 1st, like I did? I know, I know... 3 discs? Still though, better safe than sorry eh?
These all seem like inventive ideas but I cannot see much point in any of it? Not meaning your ideas are bad, I just mean the wii u seems a bit.... well pointless? The idea of having to look and move back and forth between nunchucks and the u controller, seems all a bit confusing and for lack of a better word, again I say pointless? I know very little about this and need more information before making any further comments regarding the wii u? Since I don't want to be too harsh on Nintendo, because they at least always come up with inventive ideas, unfortunately not all are ever great but some have been!
@twztid13 YES thank you I am aware that all the information is out there in web land... Two things though, I don't have access to the internet 24/7 and I wasn't wanting to find out the answers without playing the game myself! I was playing it with trial and error methods, all other methods would give me the answers without playing the game properly! Now I have finished it, that maybe the way to do it but I found this way more immersive for me.
