Well done on a point well made. Unfortunately for most of us the so called media such as FOX and other stations (not only Fox) is that they fail time and again to actually report news as it is? What I mean is that they constantly try and make or create the news on some trivial matter, that just wasn't there until they did their poor attempt at reporting. This it seems to be the way of things today as we are herded around like the sheeple that unfortunately most of us are! I am betting that there was more controversy surrounding this game now than ever before when it was first released back in the 1990's and yet it is not the 1st or even the 2nd Duke Nukem game out. News and the media continue with this idiotic reporting on the so called facts of all things and it is up to us to filter out the nonsense... to me, this is not how the news should be told? Anyway the jokes will land up being on them in the end as it will probably help to boost sales of the forthcoming release of "Duke Nukem Forever," and I for one will more than likely get this now, while before I wasn't bothered either way...?

@Kevin VanOrd This is a good article and you make a really good point here... I agree with you on the lack of villains or in some cases, good villains. This was something a friend of mine had commented on before and he got me thinking on the good bad guys from games and I had to go back a couple generations in console gaming to find the really, really good bad guys. I won't sit and name them all here but I have noticed a good few who stand out but none in recent years...? In my view the developers tend to focus more on your character and leave the bad guys until the end when you'll be surprised... but never are. This is something that will need to change for future releases IMO and I for one would love to share my ideas but I have to go now... see ya! lol

@Slash_out @flox25 @CampTramp Thank you all for taking the time to get back to me, I appreciated both sides of views towards DA2 and although I said I was going to buy this yesterday, I instead got struck down with the flu and remained in bed for most of yesterday and today, so therefore it did not get purchased as I had planned... I should have mentioned in my earlier post that I had played Origins before but never played Awakenings... Not that this matters too much because I have gave it until the end of the week now before deciding on what to do? It has to be said though after reading many other comments as well as your own, I think I already made my decision and I think you can probably guess what...? I would say out loud but then my post will get hidden under "does not meet display criteria." So I won't state the obvious, not that I expect you to care either way... what? DA2 is sh^te?? Well I am glad I logged on tonight and read these comments as I was going to purchase this tomorrow... Although I must say I am glad I found out that the game is said to suck big time, all week I was looking fwd to tomorrow to purchase this new DA... now I don't know what to get!? SERIOUSLY... Is Dragon Age 2, as a fully packaged game (overall ratings)... is it really that bad?

yeah there is no gameplay shots included, so it is hard to judge and also like adding 2 what suplax has said, the story prob won't be anything new that hasn't been in games before! however, i am a huge fan and will probably buy this after it has been released for a while 1st
