Lets look at the facts, PS3, 425, XBox 360 225 (with rumoured 50 price reduction on day PS3 is released, Nintendo Wii (99 - 150 on release). buy the other 2, wait for the PS3 to price drop, none of the games announced have floated my boat, except GTA, but then I'm not into fighting, sports or racing games. Mind you I say I'm not into sports games, but I can't wait to play Wii Sports and actually swing away. I've said it before, hold out buying a PS3 and the price will drop, but people are infact stupid and have to have 1 at any price, no buyers = price drop, price drop = happy consumers.
only said it was too much money for a console, I'm pro Sony, like we got 12 exclusives bloke, the console costs too much, some people will pay over 1000 for one over Xmas just to say they have 1, But as an Adult with bills to pay and about 18 other consoles in the house plus my computer (which I use 10X more than any of the console), I say dont buy one. Consumer power is our only weapon, dont buy a PS3 watch the price fall. Ho my god is 2X as fast as the XBox 360, we if you actually knew anything about computer chips connections and interfaces you would actually realise thats crap, they run at nearly the same speed,
I cont hate Sony Either, I own every console thats come out since 1986, but I disagree with paying 425 for a games console, so its got HDMI and bluetooth wifi a nice processor and all the other stuff, I just want to play games, I'm not insterested in buying a blu-ray disc player, its not like its that much or an improvement over Dvd, except storage wise. The graphics dont always make a game, I still play games from the 80's because of their playability not for the graphics, As I said before GTA4 and Halo on 1 system that costs 150 less and the entire back catalogue of nintendo games on the other that will cost nearly 250 less, I think I know what systems I'm buying. I'll buy a PS3 when its less than 200 and will have plenty of games in hte bargin bin, 60+ for a game, no thanks
Si its 425, its got blu-ray and all the other little gadgets, so what, how much are the games gonna cost, is blu-ray gonna change your life? Are you going to pay for a film on blu-ray at 30 a pop or just have the dvd version for 13? I wont buy a PS3 on principle, I'm the sort of person that Sony are targeting, loads of disposible income and a gadget freak, but GTA is out on XBox 360 the same day and Xbox has Halo, if I want to race cars I'll just get in my own and have more fun, I cant bloody stand Racing games, GT5 is about as exciting as a night in the local college carpark with all the Vauxhall Novas that have a stereo thats worth twice the amount of the car. Buy an Xbox and a Nintendo instead, games will be cheaper and at least you will have GTA4, Halo and 100's of nintendo back catalogue games to choose from.
