Carpenter is the best. Many of his films are wonderful, everything from genre defining staples to cult classics and his music is great too.

And above all he isn't a hollywood snob, this guy has been playing games and singing their praises for decades while many were still dismissing the medium entirely.

@leakingdogmilk The Flamethrower is a lot of a fun but tactically speaking its not great.

As in far cry 3 you can easily start fires that end up burning you and its range is tiny. That said its a great mess around weapon for the sillier moments just not one I take with me when I have specific missions to do.

Heres the best tip I can give:

Forget about boring competitive online shooters and play single player games instead.
You'll win because you'll end up playing better games

And you wont have to deal with the cavalcade of obnoxious tools online that seem to flock to this series like flies on crap.
