i believe you made a right choice there. the warranty is 3 years on that card i believe. which should be enough.

That card maxes out any game at 1920x1200 except crysis and stalker clear sky(ppl say this game is very bad configured)

but for rest of the games u shouldnt see any stutters even when the game is auto saving itself.

Yeah you should be able to play on the lowest settings, cause my friend has his desktop 8500gt and it plays fine dead space on lowest settings.

and the 8500gt desktop compared to ur mobile 8600mgt is about the same performance.

They just tell u its a gaming laptop. i really wouldnt recommend buying from that brand even if u have a super big budget. I had bad experience myself as i had 2 dead pixels on the corner of my laptop and they would say that is not defect. and i had to refund losing 15 percent of the purchase.

I got the asus g51vt after that for only 1060 dollars plus tax of best buy, and i can max out bionic command, dead space with 47 fps. bioshock, and assassins creed.

well yeah, but they said that having dead pixels on the corner on a screen is not a DEFECT.

i get around 21fps on crysis on all gamer and 4xaa(and this is with setfsb overclocked to 2.35). with this im hoping to hit the playable 30 fps.

The gtx 295 proced to have 22 fps lowest, and the cpu is not the problem at all.

My guess is that you have some kind of malware, like i use to have it on my laptop. and then after giving it a good clean i managed to boost my games faster.

Dont be so cheap, borrow 30 bucks more from anyone and get the quad core AMD 940.

I SUGGEST you wait 2 months more. the new video cards are coming out DX 11. and tbeyll kick ass. and theyll come in all price ranges.
