yes and no.

If u have a core 2 duo or an amd 940. yes.

if u have a demanding processor like an i7, or an amd 955 then it wont, It could artifact.

which means ull see funny glitches while gaming.

If ur are planning on buying w 9800 gtx. DONT DO IT

get the gts250, they are the same type only the name changes. the 9800gtx is like a year and half old. while the gts 250 is 4 months old. This video card requires less power therefore u can get a 650w to work with 2 gts 250.

Ok first u have to make sure u have 500watts at least for gts 250, and 550w at least for gtx 260.

2 you have to make sure u have a pci express x16 slot, Open up ur case there should be a very big slot to connect the motherboard with the video card together.

3 Get gts 250 as its less power demanding and the difference is only a 10-15 percent gap.

For some reasons shadow are never right in games like assassins creed and gears of war, and gta 4.

but in crysis shadows look like real life shadows lol.

Video cards today suck to me, im waiting till dx 11 cards come out, he are most likely to come with twice the speed. which will cause a huge cash drop for older cards like gtx 295 or gtx 285.

No The one making the wrong move is Intel. They will still waste the money on cheap core 2 duos. While Amd will move on with quad cores,

Now AMDS quad cores will be less expesenvive than core 2 duos i5 intel, So people are going to buy more amd just cause of the fact that it has 4 CORE AND NOT 2 USELESS FOR BIGGER PRICE. so amd is going to own intel.

Amd is not planning on realeasing a processor duo on par(Instead they are going to cease production of amd x2) It will realease quad cores and possibly six cores to compete against i9 so whats to feel sorry about?.

I tried to help you out, But apparently the card is not performing as its supposed to, Perhaps u can refund.....

cause i dont have any more ideas,

UPDATE THE BIOS, but that almost never helps.

Cause its suppose to get 34fps average and at best like when no enemy around it should go around 45 fps. and when loads of enemys around it should hit 20 fps minimum.

if u wanna game like no tomorrow, 9600mgt wont do u any good, ull ran all todays game at med settings.

i would recommend the asus g51vt-rx05 with gtx260m, same size price is 1050,

con of this laptop; Its processor is 2.0 core 2 duo, But u can upgraded to a 2.8ghz for 300 dollars,

u can get guides on how to upgrade ur cpu in ur laptop off the internet, and a lot of people have done it for this laptop.
