It's better if sony remains sony, and doesn't become nintendo.

I don't think anybody really can disagree with this. The casual market for instance does not care about graphics that has been proven and the 3d gimmick sells big.
Vita has one good game at launch 3ds in the fall will have its biggest first party games with it and more to come.
Vita will share the same fate as the psp did I fear

3D gimmick sells big? but does it really? where has this been proven before? I'm really curious. Also, VITA definitely has more than one good game at launch, let's not get silly here.
No, it'll be dead in 2012 when the Wii U is released. Right now its got a solid lineup as with any year in its life. I think you are just jelly that a weak-ass console with barely any third-party support was able to outsell both the 360 and PS3.foxhound_fox
A solid lineup? you can't be serious, please tell me you aren't serious. Also, yeah, barely any third party support, I couldn't care less about how well it sold, it definitely has the worst library of the three consoles.
Do you get bored of not debating the questions which are being asked?! Must be boring just calling people fakeboy constantly.
Dibdibdobdobo
there's nothing to debate, you're trolling, and that's the first time I ever called someone a fakeboy.
aren't you getting tired of this fakeboy game?
[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"]Still does not make an argument for how this game is anything but a graphics updated port of the original.Anomaliez
Definition of port: Converting an existing game with existing graphics engine to a console it was not originally developed for.
Definition of remake: RECREATING an existing game world specifically for a console it was not originally developed for.
It's really not hard to understand. Completely scrapping and redesigning the textures and look of the game is something being remade, overhauled, changed... remake. I know you have some kind of pessimistic attitude towards the 3DS for whatever reason but there's actually more logic in calling the Vita a soon to be port machine since that's exactly what the PSP was.
I see through your veil, hidden Sony fanboy. :P
and then you call him a fanboy, oh the irony.
Wii still has the worst library of the 3[QUOTE="Snyper-007"][QUOTE="CaseyWegner"]
does it really? i mean, the wii does have more high scoring exclusives than the ps3 and 360. only the pc is ahead of it.
CaseyWegner
which three? i mentioned four. :?
he's talking about the 3 consoles, and he's right.
OOT never used a second analog stick in the first place, so it's not like it's a problem. The camera does a fine job keeping track of your character.Shinobishyguy
yeah I remembered that and edited my post, but even the spinoffs used to get bashed on the PSP, people used to say these games are much more suited for a console and is gimped control wise, and 3DS will definitely get alot of these types of games because its able to pull it off graphicaly, but that's not really the thread for discussing this.
[QUOTE="qewrewq"][QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"] All those HD collections are not ports either. Awesome. Shinobishyguy
indeed, funny part is that alot of these users here that are praising OOT 3D were bashing the PSP to death when it was getting remakes, now it suddenly is the best thing ever. I'm not saying it's a bad game, it definitely isn't. but that double standard is ridiculous.
there was a difference. Most of those ps2 to psp ports were inferior both in terms of graphics and controls.I have a PS2, and had a PSP, you couldn't notice the difference on the small screen, but on the controls part I do agree, but 3DS has the same issue, one analoge nub, and I can't stand touch screen controls.
But I guess OOT isn't a downgrade control wise either, since it was a N64 game.
