Final Fantasy. Elder scrolls is absolute garbage in terms of gameplay.

I wonder why people keep saying this. This whole thing about all Jrpgs being grindfests is just false myth. It has been an eternity since a Jrpg that required acutal grinding to beat it came out.

It would really suck if they did. The second half of the story builds on the death of Aeris. If Aeris does not die it would not be FFVII.

Nope. In fact, Naughty Dog games in some regards embody everything that is wrong with the modern gaming industry.

The problem is that Nomura already stated that the story will not be exactly like the original FFVII. Im pretty sure that the original story can be improved but if modern Square Enix tries to to "improve it" they will most likely end up fucking the story up completly.

Indeed. If it does not have those it is action game or shooter but not an RPG. One of the key elements of an RPG is character progression and for that you need stats.

Im not sure why people are suprised by the terrible combat system. The Witcher series is well known for its bad combat.

Great story and likeable characters but utterly garbage combat system
