I have a 2.1 set from Creative Labs that is pretty damn good but unfortunately is kind of old and no longer sold. You might try having a listen to some.
If you need to buy a prebuilt set then I suggest the ones by Onkyo and Yamaha over the other HTiB by say Samsung or Sony. You'll usually get a descent receiver that you can expand on once you get ready to.
I've noticed that in a lot of cases BB is matching online retailers (where it can) without doing actual price matching where they change the price at the register after verifying it. I'm not sure how they have been able to do this, but I like it. I like being able to go to the store and get what I want at a good/best price. If I have something delivered, I'm much less likely to return it if I'm not fully satisfied.
Thanks for the responses. Sorry, I did not see the FAQ before posting. I did some searching on the MEE M11+ that was suggested and decided to go ahead and get them. Hopefully I'll be happy with those. If not, I'll try some of the others listed in FAQ. Thanks again.
Looking to get some new ear buds for work. I had some Phillips ones that were surprisingly good that got jacked. I'm not an audiophile, but I do appreciate good sound. $50 is the limit. I would prefer something I can get locally, but I'm not opposed to ordering from Amazon or the like for something much better. Just perusing I was checking out the Skull Candy Titan which has mixed reviewshttp://www.bestbuy.com/site/Skullcandy+-+Titan+Earbud+Stereo+Headphones/1275684.p?id=1218247131695&skuId=1275684, and Sennheiser CX 300B MK IIhttp://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-MK-II-Precision-Enhanced/dp/B001EZYMF4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3UWV60DQLCOGO&coliid=I2ML16AO4D9KZE. Any thoughts on these or any other suggestions?
