Thats the problem, with racism and why it still carries on. Every race thinks it doesnt happen until it happens to them or is shoved in there face. So many people were shocked to see police beat people till it was on tape. You'll be AMAZED what people say. And not only that, but youll be amazed at what people think they can say and not hurt anyone by it.

So last week I was finally going to purchase a PS3 after a lot of thought (I want to get a 60gig with BC) So I was going to go to Gamestop, but after so many sotries on here, i went to a best buy. So I walk into the best buy and go to customer service.

Me: Do you have any 60 gig PS3's in stock

CS: Umm.. yeah i think so

SO after a while she goes and gets the PS3, and I go to the counter to pay for it. And I pick up Resistance, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword

Cashier: Is that all.

Me: Yeah, oh and these three games (put games on counter)

Cashier: huh, really. You really want these games?

Me: Umm, yeah, why not?

Cashier: (laughing) nothing, anything else

Me: Do you think I shouldnt get them (im a conversational person)

Cashier: I mean, to be honest, I didn't know, you know, black people liked online shooters.

Me: huh? what makes you think that?

Cashier: I mean I have black friends (the most overused line ever), but I just didnt think you liked games like that, or even games like Heavenly sword. You know we got Madden on sale!

Me: Are you saying that I should pick up madden because im black?

Cashier: I mean thats what alot of black people get. But its usually for ps2. I didnt know black people liked PS3 either, its kind of a hardcore system. You know what blu-ray movies are, right?

At this point im more than annoyed so I just put my wallet back and leave. Go get something to eat and try and cool down, and say I'll just do this another day, but now I have no drive to get a PS3. I mean when I was out before, it was kind of an impulse buy. ( i just needed something to play) but I think i'll just wait till next year. (not because of the racist best buy employee, but I think i would have had some buyers remorse if I would have bought it then)....oh well. But yeah its time to end racism people.

I kind of had this problem too!!!!!!!!!! I went to a gamestop and ask about the ps3, beforei owned a ps3,and the clerk says to just get a 360 cause all the sports games are gonna be the same or better on the 360 and the system is cheaper. Then I go on and ask about exclusives and he assumes i know only about sports games again and says "metal gear solid 4" is now a 360 exclusive so i dont correct him at this point i just go along with it to see how much more bull he can shovel. All through this he keeps going back to sports games, there release dates, and there features.

Keep in mind this was about sometime this summer when ninja gaiden just came out. He says that ninja gaiden is the only exclusive availble for the ps3 at the time and even thats on the old xbox. At this point i just left in disgust. I mean i didnt even have the energy to tell him off.

The bad part about it is im black and i dont and NEVER have owned any sports games, and i could care less about them.

C'mon guys, use something called common sense. The reason why we're losing all these exclusives (and not just Capcom) because these developers are going where the money is. As much as I hate to admit it, it's with Wii and the 360-- they're selling millions of consoles. Now looking comparing sales from nextgen wars you see that Wii and 360 nearly triples PS3 consoles sold. I'm pretty sure those numbers are exhagerrated, but I wouldn't be shocked if Wii and 360 have sold atleast twice the amount of PS3's. So don't blame Capcom saying, "Capcom's never going to make exclusives", they're just doing what they do best, make money. That's why we're seeing a Kingdom Hearts game to the DS, that's why we see a God Of War on the PSP before they think about making a game for the PS3, and that's why Capcom is going multiplat-- it's all because of the lack of PS3 sales. So point your fingers at Sony, they screwed us over. I'm really hoping the best with the new 40GB.suitmypants

100% agreed. Some of these guys on these forums are such nerds, boycotting is so stupid. I know if capcom was my business, Id do what it takes to make money also. Thats what business is making money. Im very happy to see lost planet, thats the only one i cared about, not dead rising or any other game. Cant wait to get my hands on lp!

Paramount: Transformers HD-DVD doesn't have enough space for High-Res Audio


When audio specs for 'Transformers' were announced, there was a collective sigh of disappointment from early adopters when High-Def-Digest learned that there would be no high-res audio tracks included on this disc. Given that this is such a flagship title for the studio, the decision was quite the head-scratcher.

Indeed, High-Def-Digest had the opportunity to attend a special 'Transformers' media event with Paramount late last week, and the question was asked almost immediately -- why no Dolby TrueHD or uncompressed PCM? The studio's answer was that due to space limitations on the disc, the decision was made to limit the audio to Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 Surround only (here at 1.5mbps). Unfortunately, this confirms the long-held theory that the 30Gb capacity of an HD-30 dual-layer HD DVD disc has forced studios to choose between offering a robust supplements package (as they've done here) and the very best in audio quality.
