KEF, Klipsch, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, Polk, B&W, Athena, Pardigm, HTD, some JBL's are all far and away better than Bose. Bose is a marketing name. Visit AVSforums or audioholics and mention the name Bose and see how quickly they agree.  Â

Porn support won't matter much this generation due to the internet.  Your only source of video porn in the early 80's was pretty much recorded video (beta or VHS) or a massive satellite dish in your back yard. Now you can get pretty much anything, and I do mean anything, with a few clicks of the mouse.Â

You still shouldn't have any problems then. All 720p sets are capable of acception 1080i HD signals. Just set your PS3 to output Blruay playback in 1080i.

Some are using MPEG4 and VC-1 for newer bluray releases. Also, all Bluray movies can be played back in either 1080i or 1080p by the PS3. Scaling is only an issue if you want to play back in 720p.
