Sony does very will with formats that they share technology and development with others, like the CD. Blu-ray is more like that than Betamax.

2. casey changed the rules from hardware sales dictating the #1 of a generation to how many games come out for a console as the measure... dumb.

I think it was always this way and that's the point he tried to make. This is why he stated the PC won last generation and not the PS2.

I think that his opinion appears to weigh a little more than other mods here, or so it's been shown.
