this problem that myself and 5 people i know w/ our xbox 360 has been the worst ,PS2 dre's werent as bad as this ..MS screwed us royally

i had 3 busted ps2..sony replaced NONE..

until ms is successfully sued over their hardware, as sony was, then sony STILL holds the crown for bad hardware...

my advice, stop getting 360 info from ps3 boards...;)

The reason the 360 issued the extension on their warranty is because an acturary figured that the cost of the additonal warranty is less than the possible cost of a class action lawsuit. With that said, I've had a 360 Premium since launch and a 360 Elite since May and both have yet to give me any problems at all. I think a lot of the problem has to do with poor ventilation in user setups.

Other than Dirt, Oblivion and GRAW 2 were both released much later than the 360 version. To be honest, with all that extra dev time, they darn well better be just as good if not better than the 360 version. In 95% of the time, though, my OP is exactly right.
