um...no...i'm talking about the EU studios...

they're not backing bluray...

i don't know how many studios there are, but it's not looking good to have both NA and EU against bluray...

maybe japan will save it... ooops... never mind...:D

tango90101

So you don't know how many studios are in the EU, just that they're backing HD-DVD.  Compelling evidence.

Casino Royale became one of the best selling Bluray titles according to Nielsen-Videoscan ratings. You say it has to do with it being bundled with the PS3 for the European release. I'll give you a minute to figure out your massive error in extrapolation.

Tango, aka hd28guy_basic, never admits to being wrong. His typical strategy will be to spin his original statement unsucessfully and then pray that a moderator locks the thread before the entire forum turns out to have a laugh at his expense.

You should have been on Friday when he claimed he was older than 37 (yet uses terms like "cow" and "owned) and was a high level executive with the nation's largest bank in Chicago, though the nation's largest bank is in New York and not Chicago. I even challenged him to post scans of his business degrees with his username sticky noted to them and I would do same with mine. He cowardly declined. For a moment I actually hoped he would just to see how sad it would be for a 40 year old man to be doing such things on a message board.

poor ramey... you diggin' on me aren't you..?

it's only sad you want to go to such lenghts to prove something to someone you don't know...

i told you i was at work... so had no access to take pictures...but "cowardly declined" is how all you clowns view it..

for the record; this is why i don't typically bring my background into this; you clowns have no idea what you're babbling about and sinc eyou personally dont' konw of something, it doesn't exist...

go back to selling loans... heck of way to pay for mba...

Where did I ever claim I sold loans? I'm a risk assessment officer for a mortgage lending firm. These are aicraft mortgages for airlines and leasing firms. Surely you should have picked up on that when I mentioned my experience with AMRcorp. I'm sorry if alluded to anything else.

a risk analyst?

just what a thought; a prodution cog....

wow.. i can see how LTVs and Secondary Market lock pricing can give you valuable insight into consumer electronics industyr...

now; back on topic:

1. bluray sales won't help the ps3 survive as the money doesn't go to SCE

2. the individual movie sales are not the important driver right now; the players themselves are. ever wonder why NOONE is releasing stand alone br player sales numbers? hint: the same reason sony refused to release PSX numbers in japan...;)

You're not real familiar with Aircraft Mortgages I suspect.  The factors involved are much different than loaning Judy and Timmy $100k for their first 1,500 sqft home with FHA backed mortgage.   Look up the book price of a 777-200ER and combine that with a volatile aviation industry and get back to me.

it's funny this guy keeps using the same "neilsen" b.s.. NEVER any other sources...

if i'm wrong, i'm wrong, but sony has a history of counting freebies as sales... so it wouldn't be unheard of...

what other movies were bundled in the ps3...? let's see how they faired on the charts...

The reason you are wrong is because Nielsen-Videoscan only tracts North American sales data, thus specifically excluding any movies bundled in Europe.

what movies were bundled in NA?

Talledega Nights.  Not Casino Royale, which made record sales in North America.

4. it's really odd just how gullible you guys are.. you do realize they're counting the free bundled movies with the ps3 as a "bluray sale", right..? ;)

tango90101

Link please, or else I'll just assume you're spewing more of your usual.

...

Actually, I know there is no link... but thanks for playing. :)

hmmmm... let's see.. Casino Royale wasn't even a blip on the radar of bluray sales until they bundled it with the ps3 then MAGICALLY it became one the "best seling bluray" titles...

i'll bet you really think that's a coincidence..

you need to read more instead of asking for links to common knowledge...;)

In this day and age, an FPS having no online multiplayer is like a car having no wheels.

What's wrong with both having online?  Is it an either or thing?
