He is speaking on behalf of the workers so his remarks are invalid. Let the coders talk and it would have more interest. He even says at one point he has only been involved in games for 7 years.
@Ripper_TV: It has some of the best controls I have come across. Smooth movement, intuitive layout, use of double sometimes triple actions for one button. Everything is placed in a natural position with more attention the most often used actions like jump, shoot, roll. And it went on to influence future games control design. There is an entire level to show you how to use them and a clever camera system that is cinematic but also user friendly.
Compared to some of the crap at the time Tomb Raider's controls were very polished.
His music is perfect it suggests and shows parts of the game but doesn't shove it in your face like the modern ones.
He would just use 5 notes and you know that you have just found a secret. One note played but changing the tempo and volume and you know that you are near a cliff edge.
The Main Theme is so well formed and enchanting, it really blends and coexists within the game world.
