will this game be online?SprayingPreyYes, that's part of why I'm so PHSYCHED about this game! Oh, and welcome to GS. :)

You and your character layouts! Why must you be so good?!?:D And once again, I have a few improvement ideas. Improvements: 1) Your A down move and B down move are exactly the same. I'd replace the B down version with that Banana Lay you wanted to put in. I'd also give the move 1% damage instead of none. 2) I think it makes more sense to have the Cartwheel as the B side move. Which means that the Banana Throw gets made the B move, also makes sense. Comments: 1) Yes, it would indeed be funny to see Diddy throw large characters with his tail. 2) Yes, he does throw his hat in the air in DKC, but at the end of boss fights, not levels. What I'd love to see, though, is if Diddy wins a match, for him to pull out his Boom Box (DKC2) and start rocking out as his victory dance. You're good at this character making thing! I really enjoy reading (and critiquing;)) them!Diddy Kong:
A = tail whips out (3%, can attack 3 times in succession)
A up = does a handstand and jumps up in the air, kicking an opponent (10%)
A left/right = barrage of fists (2% each time, up to ten times, but very hard to achieve that many)
A down =Â takes hat off and head butts downward. (10%) While in air, he flips upside down and does a head butt, while waving his arms, so as to look like he's trying to speed up. If on ground, does a quick jump into the air and proceeds with downward headbutt(10%)
B= cartwheel (20%, By far Diddy's strongest move, as he is one of the most agile characters in the game)
B up = If in the air, curls into a ball and rolls upward through the air (8%, but jumps very high and good distance left and right, moves in a big arc) if on the ground, rolls forward a fair ways (8%, but be careful since Diddy might go over the edge)
B left/right = throws a banana (1%, but inverts controls of enemy that is hit for 1-2 second)
B down =Â While in air, he flips upside down and does a head butt, while waving his arms, so as to look like he's trying to speed up. If on ground, does a quick jump into the air and proceeds with downward headbutt(10%)
Throw = grabs with tail, and throws them. Could be funny with large characters such as Bowser:D(5%)
Taunt = Throws hat up in the air. (I think this is what Diddy does at the end of levels in Donkey Kong Country, correct me if I'm wrong)
P.S. I was thinking of giving him a move that lays a banana down and if someone walks across it they fall but it does 0%. I thought this might be a little cheap, and I couldn't decide on a move it could replace (sensibly in the B move category)
P.P.S. Feel free to make any wholesome comments, critiques and changes to this character layout.

I likey! Only thing I would change is the throwing damage range; 20% seems a bit excessive when the other characters do about 8%. But that could be one of Wolf Link's advantages: having a more damaging throw. I'd give it a range of 10-14%. And I forget who said it, but whoever suggested using the D-pad for transformations had a good idea. That way, Link could still have his bombs and Wolf Link could have another move (no ideas for what it could be, though).Wolflink and Midna (Transformation of Link)
A: bite (short range, 3-8%)
A up: Wolf kicks Midna upwards (high range, can pass through multiple people) (10% per person)
A left/right: Lunge (pushes one person sideways, hits multiple times, 2% each time, 5 maximum)
A down: slam on all fours. sends short shockwaves.
B: chain whips out (8-15%)
B up: chain goes, grabs to a ledge, pulls you up to the ledge (if it hits a person it deals 15% and brings them to where wolf link is)
B down: transform to Link (Midna runs off the stage, deals 1% to any foe that it hits)
Throw: Bites foe and shakes them, on the last time letting go and possibly sending them flying (10-20%)
Taunt:Â howl
Midna holds and throws items

They need to get some updates on this game its as if its totally being ignored.coolbgdogI don't know... The speculation is pretty exciting...! That, and the less they release, the greater the surprise will be when the game finally comes out and all the features are revealed. Would be nice to know a LITTLE more, though...
Fierce Diety would make an awesome character! I'm sure my friend fierce_diety13 would agree with you, too (kinda obvious, isn't it?). Not only does SSB need more villains, Nintendo needs more villains in general. Bowser tends to be the antagonist in most Mario games; Ganon was the only major real villain in LoZ until Vaati's VERY recent appearance; Star Fox's main villains are Andross and Star Wolf; there really isn't any Pokemon villain (I suppose Mewtwo technically counts, but only because of the movie); F-Zero only has rival racers; the only recurring antagonistic force in Metroid is the Space Pirates (must say that Ridley rules, though); Ice Climber has polar bears in shorts; Fire Emblem has villains, but they're WAY too powerful; and Kirby... actually has a good repitoire of villains. ... Actually, that list just disproved my point; Nintendo's fine on villains. So, yes, they should integrate more of them into the game!Well i'm pretty sure that once you play the game enough you can turn items off (like in ssbm) and still have times which would mean youd have a better chance at getting the good stuff...
And as far as having the masks become actual characters....eh...i dont know...probably the only one I'd really would want to see as an actual character would be the fierce diety himself...
+ they need more villains...:D

I think they should include a realistic real world stage or two..A bunch of goods ideas right there... Seriously. :) However, it's inevitable that some moves will be overused in any fighting game. It's because they work that they are used so often. The outfit advantages would definitely make things much more variety. Only problem is that if two people wanted a particular outfit for its stat changes, there'd be a little conflict...
Seriously. That would just be hiliarious. Pikachu and Samus battleing in a forest or desert area. Or even a city of some sort... not like foursquare but more.. lifesize..
More interactive levels with maybe trees as destructible objects or things that affect the playing field..
Also maybe some gravity levels where gravity is reverserd/strong/weak/chanching. That would be a wild match.
I think each character shouldg et thier own stage, not just series. It should be specifically related to them. Along with random stages from the series as well. Kinda like how mario had its stages and luigi has the SM2 stage whcihi s where he debuted.
Add some better lighting and shadows whch they seem to have done as seen in many screenshots.
More variation in moves. Some were just a bit overused in some characters.
Have the different outfits actually affect certain aspects of the charcter. Say when mario is in white (ie. Fireball form) hit fireballs and attacks do more damage, but have a draw back like less jump height and slower run... That would give TONS more variety to an already crazy game. Same could be done for say link or samus. Link in red could make his bow fire, blue ice, yellow light. Just ideas. Samus would have differnt beams relating to her color.
Yeah i guess im doen.. ill post more as i think of htem

Well, bear in mind that that Final Destination will most likely not be in this game... the final stage varies a little bit in every game.maclotrThere wasn't that much of a difference between the SSB version of Final Destination and the SSBM version. The only differences I saw was that the SSBM version was bigger and the backgound was different. Though you're right, they might change that for Brawl. We'll just have to see...
Majora's Mask would be a cool idea....maybe have youg link put on the fierce diety mask on and have his own personal moveset instead of being a clone to Link...would make a good reason to keep him instead of removing and tossing in the WW Link....but having a WW stage based on the final fight would be cool....the size and shape of the final destination map but instead of a space background have water falling from the sky would be cool looking... yay or nay...BattleguildIf it was exactly like Final Destination except for the background, I'd have to say nay. Put a slight variation like a pit in the middle and I'd say yay.
