@DoucheVader: People buy Xbox One so they can play Xbox One AND Xbox 360 games, and even Xbox games once that's live. If you're upgrading from a 360, why not still have access to your games? You can play new and old games without having to have a console for each.
Ars Technica's data was terrible. They had to update it with Microsoft's data which proved them wrong massively.
“Based on our findings, Ars Technica’s analysis and conclusions are grossly inaccurate and misleading due to an incomplete set of data and drawing conclusions about actual usage from data that approximates usage".
"Ars was contacted by Microsoft and has updated its report with additional information. In the report, it states Microsoft told the site the My Games and Apps section of Xbox One was used by “71% of Xbox One players,” and not the “approximately 6.3% shown” by the data".
@CyberEarth: But that's the reason why. Xbox One games need to work across all 3 models so you can't use a 4K disc for the S and X as the original console wouldn't be able to play them.
Again, with Forza 7 also having multi-monitor support, it's just a case of verifying if it supports three 4K monitors like PC2 does. If it does, then this is a non-issue.
8K is the equivalent of four 4K screens, resolution wise, so isn't this just marketing speak? Forza 7 also has multi-monitor support, so what's the difference?
@lonesamurai1: So 8K gaming is a thing now? What other games are you playing in 8K?
The PC version has multi-monitor support, 21:9 display support, unlocked framerate, massive peripheral support and higher available MSAA. But that's not enough as you clearly play all games on your 8K monitor.
You're being fooled if you think the PC version can't look and run better than the One X version on a much more powerful rig. If you don't engine limitations either, then do you actually have a PC?
