@catsimboy: So does this mean that if it has such an ending haters will be talking and complaining about it again, again and again for a decade after and beat it to death as if they don't have anything better to concern their lives with?
@siarhei: If any of these 2 games is to be pushed back it's Horizon. It's a completely new IP against an industry giant. Not to mention it's a console exclusive against a multiplat. Keep in mind i'm not saying which one will be a better game, coz how the hell would i know? Strictly talking in terms of popularity and history.
Ok, what the hell is going on with this anyway? All the articles i see on the net right now are like: "Get NES Classic next week(maybe)", "Get your hands on NES Classic next monday(probably)", NES Classic will be available next month in a couple of stores across the ocean(if God allows it)", NES Classic sighted on Yeti's hands in mount Everest(if you're a good climber, a good monster hunter AND lucky you might get it!).
Seriously, it's a freakin new product. Nintendo need to put their s^*t together and end this madness already.
@vilified_signals: Because maybe they give season 2 characters in January? There's still the 8(9 with Killgore) fighters from season 3. Paying for them now means that you can play them right away instead of waiting 1(?) year down the road to give them away with GoG. IF they give them away.
In any case if you're interested, the Definitive Edition right now goes for 40$ on Xbox Store, which is a good price for the whole package imo. But i suggest you wait for the christmas deals since they announced that big budget games will be discounted. KI might be one of them.
My PC and a Nintendo console will always be what i really need for gaming, personally. Well, also an Xbox console for Halo but with the current transition of MS titles onto PC that will probably become absolete in the future.
As for the Wii U: was it the huge success ppl expected it to be? No. Was it a good console with a great (if somewhat limited) selection of games? Yes! The problem was that even Nintendo themselves seemed to neglect their own damn product, like after 2 years in, when they realized that it wouldn't reach the heights of Wii in terms of sales and success. I couldn't care less if they dropped third party support after year 1, but it buffles me that a Nintendo console went on it's entire lifespan(even a short one like Wii U's) without a single new Zelda, Metroid or F-Zero game and with Star Fox coming near it's sunset after major delays. Yes i'm aware of the multiple Mario titles, Donkey Kong etc. but still it was like something was missing.
In conclusion that was a well written article albeit one that (surprisingly) seems to insist on forgetting one of the best Wii U exclusives and one of the best rpgs of this gen: Xenoblade Chronicles X.
