They could be simply incorporating parts of the UE3 engine to support the White Engine. Shaders, physics, etc. This does not mean they have abandoned the White Engine -- that is far too much money, time and resources wasted.

If it's more technical than GT, has damage modeling and cigarette sponsors, then I'm sold. If not, I'd have to think about it for a while.PikaPichu
It has damage modelling, not sure by what you mean by "more technical," but you actually have to work during pit stops. It also features damage meters for the entire car, tires, suspension, etc. Not sure about cigarette sponsors, because that depends on the countries laws. I am pretty positive that cigarette ads are banned from videogames in various countries because games like these are rated E.

Are these world wide numbers? If so, I can totally see the PS3 and PS2 out selling the 360, the 360 has weak sales in Japan and Europe.Nagidar
Nope. NPD = United States numbers. This is for the month of January. PS3 sold another 120K units in Japan for January, so that puts the PS3 right around 500K in TWO regions. Mighty impressive. The PS3 could be doing 750K a units per month once it drops in Europe. That is over 2.5x the amount that the X360 did per month between February and October 2006 worldwide. The X360 did not break 300,000 units sold in a 8-9 month span.

If those are true, those are some very good numbers for the PS3. Beating out both the X360 and Playstation 2.

The magazine asked readers of its Famitsu.com website which system they most played over the holiday season. While the DS was the biggest selling system over the period, Wii was apparently the most played system, taking up 244 votes. DS came next, with 185 votes, followed by the PS2 (148), Xbox 360 (146) and PSP (115). The PS3 didn't place in the top five.

Just me, or does this sound like a regular poll you would find on every website? Shame.
