It does play well and looks great, but these open world racing games are just to samey in my opinion. Drive here to win this, drive there to win that...
It must be a generation thing, but players just don't seem to want to put in any effort these days. I personally love the grind and surely regardless of what the award is, it is satisfying when you unlock stuff?? NO?
@miraggio67: Yeah that made no sense at all. Is online really that ingrained into the single player campaign that without a connection, renders it entirely unusable?
RDR2 has finally made me realise that I'm not a fan of huge open world games/simulators. You can't even call this a game, it's a western simulator and a boring one at that.
@Deckard2323@MondasM: Multiplayer and the new base build features will change how you look at this game also now. The universe can now grow, one day you'll visit a planet and will fall upon a city-esque area built by gamers. This is now like Minecraft on much, much larger scale. I know we can also trade items with each other now, but I'm wondering whether we can actually leave items lying around for others to find??
