Resi 2 remains, for me at least, one of the greatest video games ever made. This remake looks set to not disappoint me at all, it's looking absolutely amazing.
So far, the very best thing to have come out of a moderately entertaining E3.
Tlou2 looked pretty good, as long as that was actual gameplay and not just scripted events. Resi 2 is gonna be freaking amazing.
Spiderman and Nioh looked okay, not really very excited about either tbh, probably pick those up one day on a massive sale.
Death Stranding, I honestly have no idea about. It worries me that to this point it seems to be coasting off Kojimas reputation and the fact it has Readus in it, like that is somehow going to insure it's excellence. I want to actually see some real gameplay, because right now I'm expecting this to be put back into PS5 territory, we shall see.
It seems to me like this year the consoles seemed to be winding down, they really are not long for this world now. I was half expecting a PS5 tease, and I was absolutely expecting FFVII remake information; extremely worried about that now, development hell anyone!
Overall it was okay, I preferred Squares if I'm honest. So far I've been fairly excited for like one to two games from each conference, which is pretty good going on the whole.
I'm really hoping Nintendo are going to smash it out of the park this year (see what I did there). Please Nintendo give us something amazing.
At least they've done this as a spin off and not as Fallout 5. I'd have been proper disappointed if FO5 had been a MP focused game tbh.
This could be pretty cool though, there should be more genre swapping spin offs out there instead of just retreading the same game formulas over and over.
Unless, ofc, this ends up being some Battle Royale bullshit, then just F#$k Bethesda.
I spent most of my life believing that the Ghostbusters films were spin-offs of the cartoons! no lie.
'The Real Ghostbusters' is up there with Thundercats, Turtles and He-Man, and was probably my favourite ever cartoon as a kid.
I still remember that first episode with the huge gestalt circus thing, freaked me out as a kid.
Oh, and best thing about 90's cartoons..the opening theme tunes! Ghostbusters, Turtles, Mask, Gummy Bears, Duck Tails and last but not least Inspector Gadget.
This game was a celebration of school shootings, following a series of tragic and disgusting acts.
It was a game about murdering innocents, in a place of safety, who didn't fight back.
It's intent was simply to disgust, to use the tragic pain of families and the society around them to draw a response, in any way it can.
It had no message. It had no redemption. It had no thought. It was simply disgusting. As is anybody who defends that filth.
If you believe that in context that is at all the same as your normal FPS then you are either damaged, or simply the usual conflict vomiting faceless online troll, spouting inflammatory nonsense simply because they can.
