I just can't really bring myself to get excited about this game. Technically, it doesn't really share anything with Planescape. Different world, different mechanics, different everything.
I dunno I just kinda feel like it's trying to just latch on to people's nostalgia for publicity. Could turn out good but I'm not going to get excited just cause it has Torment in the name.
I still find it hilarious people get mad over the scores for games like this. This is very much a fan service game with a very specific audience. As such from a broader view, the game may not be nearly as appealing to the general public as it is to the fans.
Be that as it may, scores for these types of games means very little. If you don't like Naruto, the game probably isn't for you anyways. If you like Naruto, then the actual score shouldn't affect your decision on playing the game or not.
The only Bioware game where I enjoyed the romance factor was Baldur's Gate 2.
All their subsequent attempts to incorporate character relationships in games feel tacked on. I think it's cause it was always a sort of forced banter at a party camp instead of the random banter in BG2. Maybe it's the writing. In any case they all felt cheesy.
The actual sex cut-scenes kind of made it more awkward and mostly just made me laugh.
DmC was #1 in UK as well on week one. vgchartz hasn't updated yet so it's still only week one sales. You can't say DmC is #1 worldwide this week (week 2 for DmC) simply because it's #1 worldwide on last week.
I'm not sure how much clearer I can explain that...
