Well, its good to hear the back being hot isn't a problem, but I still can hear the humming sound coming out of my tv. It only comes out when I have my playstation 3 on. I checked the audio settings and they are right. The sound isn't overly loud, but its still a bit annoying, just cuz I know its there. The tv isn't the greatest, though, so I probably won't worry about it too much. Thanks again.

Hey guys, I just bought a Playstation 3 a few hours ago (pretty stoked!). I had it on for about 3 hours then, my TV started making a humming sound and I realzied it was coming from the audio in the playstation 3's a/v jacks. So, I decided to just go to sleep, so I turned the system off and as I did so, I realized the back part with the vents was really hot. It wasn't so hot that it hurt to touch, but it was still pretty hot and it was only on for three hours. Is this a problem, or is it not unheard of for the playstation 3 systems to get a little heated in the back. Also, anybody else know about the buzzing sound the a/v chord is making? Other than that so far I am ready to enjoy the new system!

does Rainbow 6: Vegas offer online splitscreen? I'm not looking for splitscreen games, such as Resistance as you guys have recommended, but rather games that two people on the same console can play against people online.

Hey guys, i've been on here asking a lot of questions I know, but pretty much, i'm a frustrated wii owner, who bougth the system expecting some pretty cool FPS games, but now have given up. I am thinking about getting a PS3 and just wondered if any games, like Resistance, or Unreal Tournament 3 can be played online, with more than one person on a console. Me and my roommate love playing split-screen online on his 360 and I just wondered if there are any games on PS3 that allow that.

well, once the metal gear solid 4 bundle sells out, are you guys saying the only new way to get a ps3 is for the 40 gb version that doesn't even play ps2 games? You guys mentioned the 120-160 gb versions maybe, but are those confirmed, or just rumors? it seems a little weird to me that the 40 gb version is the only one left.

Hey, I am looking to buy a playstation 3, but everywhere I got I can only find the 40 gb version and not the 80, except for the Metal Gear solid pack online. Did sony discontinue it, or is it just hard to find?

Alright, thanks for the advice. As much as I hate to shell out more money that I probably can't afford, i'm just going to save a little extra up and get a new one...although it won't be the elite, def. gonna hafta go with the 20 gig version. How long did Microsoft extend the warranty for again? Thanks again for the help

Ok, so I am a huge videogame fan, who is no fanboy to any company and buys any system that looks fun. So, I bought the wii, because I am a poor college student and found resident evil 4 to be amazing, well I am such a huge resident evil fan, that I decided that i'm going to buy a 360 just for resident evil 5 alone. I recently also played bioshock and found it to be amazing, so have decided i'd like to get a 360 sooner than planned. The only problem is I can only afford a used system on ebay, but I know the 360 has had problems with the red ring of death and that microsoft issued a new warranty program witht he repalcements, but my question is, if I buy one used on ebay and it breaks down on me, will it still be covered under the new replacement program microsoft issued, or am I S.O.L.? I really want a 360, but can't afford a new one.

I am personally glad its coming to the 360, because i'm a poor college kid unable to afford a playstation 3, so i'm getting a used 360 as soon as this game comes out....but to the person above who said that the wii couldn't handle this game, because of the controls...um...resident evil 4 on wii had amazing controls. That said...i'm glad its coming to 360.
