Ok guys so I went ahead and changed my Bios setting to XMP and my ram is still below 1600MHZ, heres the link to my 3dmark score,

Thing is that CPU-Z is reading them at 800MHZ while 3dmark 11 isnt.

In the BIOS/EFI, set your RAM to use XMP Profile 1 (or just XMP Profile, if only one appears). That'll get the factory timings right instead of having to manually set the timings yourself.lowe0

Ok guys so I bought the CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) pack yesterday, my specs are on my sig (need to change ram spec) . It took me a while for my Pc to boot, I probably didnt fit the 4 sticks well enough (even though each of the 4 mobo`s clips did click!) or who knows.... Anyways, under CPU-ID the ram is running at 666.8 MHZ, so roughly at 1,333.6 MHZ, I thought they were supposed to be running at 1600 MHZ!!!

Also guys I`m kinda worried that it took a while for my Pc to boot, any ideas why this happened? Thanks!

I'm thinking about upgrading my graphics card this summer. I currently have a Radeon 5850 in my computer coupled with an i7 860 at stock 2.8GHz and 4GB of ram. I'm thinking that my CPU is still ok and I'll definetley be getting more ram soon. I was just wondering if you guys think it would be worth it to upgrade my 5850 to a new 670, I've been hearing some great things about them lately.

while i appreciate the effort i think it is going to be a waste of time to try to reinvent the wheel.

This idea will:

1: be compared to Wow automatically

2: be assumed to be another Wow Clone automatically

3:Will fail due to lack of end game content like Conan and SWTOR and thus will have to fall into the absurd micro purchase model to survive.

4: too much free MMO's to play.

5: Asian market saturated by its own free MMOs market.

6: Guild wars 2 will eat a big chunk of competition due to the way it's subscription model is constructed.

7: many succesfull single player game have tried to turn themselves into MMO's and have failed. Company of heroes comes to mind. Warhammers was supposed to go MMO and it was abandonned...Not enough people will join it to make it sustainable.




and i could go on and on and on....not being negative but realistic. Everyone wants to become an Ipad but there is only one ipad and so on and so forth. Instead of trying to out monkey the monkey besides you, you should evolve and become something else other than a monkey.

Skyrim was a good example of a good game and a sound strategy to make money , it was a new game that built on previous success, why not continue doing this?

i can see this online thing be good for half a year then it is gonna end up closing within the other half year...

Yup this made me very happy last night. Ordered my EVGA SC+, only a 30 dollar markup, which is not bad, expecially if you have looked at the sellers on Amazon.com. I love the fact they had the + so I could have my backplate already on the card. Plus I was accepted for the 6 months of no interest. Now I can't wait to get this thing in my Hands!
