First of all, the K20X is way more expensive than $1000. Second of all, it's not my money. I put together a workstation that's going to be used to crunch atmospheric diffusion models, so it'll be put to good use. Just thought I'd make somewhat of a joke topic with all the Titan hype going around.Marfoo
Good for you man! I ordered mine on Tuesday, should be getting it around March 12th. Can't wait :D

[QUOTE="eric_007"]Hey all, While I'm sure there are many posts asking this question, I searched for this topic and was unable to find it in this forum. Pardon the faux pas if there's an entire section on what I'm about to ask. So I have a little bit of disposable time (though not a ton of it), and I'm looking for a non-subscription based game to spend my limited disposable time on. I have it narrowed down to three titles, which all look excellent, but I'm torn. The games I'm considering are: GW2 Skyrim Minecraft Mass Effect 3 I realize that the comparison of these games is not really an apples-to-apples comparison; GW2 is an MMORPG, while Skyrim is more of a single player RPG, for example. That's the reason I'm having the hardest time quantifying each game's overall play-ability, because I'm not restricting it based on the type of game it is. I'm looking for a one-time purchase, that will give me a lot of quality play-time, but won't require a huge time-investment to enjoy it. I want to be able to play it whenever I feel like it, be it 20 minutes or a few hours at a time. I'm hoping to avoid suggestions like, "if you want to play with friends, pick an MMORPG," and the like. I am hoping to find some thoughtful suggestions on which game I should choose based on the merits of the game itself. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions you guys may have! Regards, Eric

Dude just pickp up Dark Souls. All the games you listed are crap compared to DS. I am being 100% serious btw.

Hey Amster I also have the H80i, although the hoses are pushing against the left ram stick (after the installation of the H80i I had trouble booting because of this). Any suggestions? I currently have 4 dims of Corsair Vengeance ram, though I'll be receiving in a week 16Gb of Corsair Platinum (4 sticks). I am thinking that the height of the Vengeance heat sink might be the problem.... I am asking because it seems like you have a lot of space between the hoses and your dims.

the 680 will not max every game at 1080p. Even my 7970 has trouble getting sleeping dogs past 45 fps, and thats with some settings like AA brought down to high instead of extreme. Crysis 2, same story only 45 fps all settings completely maxed out at 1080p. A 680 does worse than a 7970, so I dont understand how you can max all games. Definitely set an overclock profile for your games, or be prepared to tone down the settings.

How do you know all this if you dont own a GTX 680?

[QUOTE="horgen123"]In MSI Afterburner these are my settings: Power settings: 115% Core clock: +75MHz Mem Clock: +400MHz. Only apply them when I game though. I've tried with a higher core clock but it doesn't seem stable then. Oh and my card is +50MHz on the core clock from factory.

I have the GTX 680 SC edition, I can only reach +45mhz both core and mem. More than that and 3d Mark11 crashes. Regarding the power settings I've tried everything and still I cant get past that :( . I'm using EVGA precision btw. Any tips???

I believe that playing and completing Dark Souls is a must for hardcore gamers.
