the PS3 is a very powerful machien, the thing has a 9 core processor,8 of those cores runs at 3.2GHZ in 128-bit, the 9th one tells and gives the information to each core.I wouldn't be suprised it the CPU alone of a PS3 could out perform a avarage PC. The GPU of the PS3 is also very powerfull the thing has, 33 unified pixel shaders runing at 700MHz the core it's self is 64-bit no comsumer GPU runs in 64-bit, now for thoses people who say that GPU's run at 256-bit - 768-bit it's the memory that runs at thoses bit rates. suposively the next gen GPU's will run in 64-bit.

wat is your prefered score from 3dmark06 from this card. I had this same problem as you're having now, and after like a week and a half of research I got a ATI/AMD X1650XT with a 3dmark06 score of 3435. that card performs better than a nvidia 7600GT. the card is very nice and cheap too.us I think the 256MB AGP version cost like $130-$150. I have the 512 version and thats a great card too.us
