[QUOTE="rogeliozim"]OK so next year im going to bulid a DX10 gaming computer cell_dweller
If you are going to wait until next year to build, you might as well wait until the next round of video cards comes out from ATI and Nvidia. I think the G92 is out sometime in Nov. or Dec?

well if you think about it most games suport cards from 1-4generations ago so im not going to get a next gen card. cuz maybe DX10 games will support an 8800GTS for a year and a half and when the going get though then I'll get an other 8800GTs in SLi mode

There's no need to get 2 GTS in SLI, one GTX will suit you just fine. Furthermore, depend on what resolution you play games at, a GTS is for under 1600x1200 and a GTX for any resolution above that. One more thing, unless you have a 30" monitor, there's no need to go with GTX in SLI. sstravisd

I have a  18" monitor that has a resolution of 1080x1024 but y curent card can't hand much maxed out over 800x600 wich I don't really mind

Im kind-of on a bughet, so two GTX's might not be the best idea. I just need this computer to last me 3 years worth of gaming

OK so next year im going to bulid a DX10 gaming computer and I need help on wat GFX card I should put in there. So far I desided that I want a EVGA 8800GTS. The system all together is $750 w/out the case cuz I have and awsome Ssgita case. But then I was woneding if One 8800GTS is good enough for me?

so wat should I get instead?:

a single 8800GTS

2 8800GTS in SLi

a 8800GTX

or 2 8800GTX in SLi

if you want the rest of the system specs just say the word and I'll give them to you. oh ya you could just vote in stead if you wanted to as well. oh ya also, Im building this system next year cuz there will beter DX10 driver suport and more games. also the prices of the cards will go down and they won't be obsolete by then.

I have recently put together a list of computer parts together and in the list I have two 8800GTS's in there. Now im getting the 8800GTS's cuz I want a very powerful system and there DX10 and im getting vista soon, but the catch is that I can't buy it all until next year.Im worried that when I buy the GFX cards that DX11 will come out and that my 8800GTS's will be out dated. So is two 8800GTS's enough or even worth it? (yes i'll have then in SLi)?
