I play that games on max with x1950xt, 1950pro will be close to my performence.

dont buy a gt.. why should u.. 8600gt is the smae price as a 1950pro and the pro is a LOT better then that crappy gt.

the 8600gt will be a slow card for DX10 support (heard of many ppl and without that support it almost look the same as DX9)...

I mean, if u want to game & a DX10 card the less u should buy is a 8800gts 320MB.

Nope, the 8600GT is a sucking DX10 card & u need a new card in a short time to play it @ nice configs,

Better buy a 1950xt for that price & buy (when the 9800 is released) a 8800gts/gtx or Ati 2900/2950xt.

They will be cheaper @ that time.

For the same price as a 8600gt u got a 1950pro or 25usd more a x1950xt (HOT!!)

I heard from a lot of ppl with a 8600 for example that they have probs with dx10 fuetures.

They game slow down a lot and isnt looking much different without dx10 support.

8600 will be a waste of money in my eyes.

Just buy a 1950 @ this time and play all the games coming out soon and later this year @ high for sure.

I would buy a 1950pro (cheap solution) & a 'lot' better the X1950XT (160Euro) > 200USD ?

And i don't know what u cpu will do.

When i was younger i played every game that i could get.

@ this time i expect more from games... so i buy only good ones i liked the demos from etc..

That was my idea to (and sell my x1950xt) so @ that time not so expensive and next year i ll get a 9800.

sure u can clock it till E6750 Speed.

But what i mean is that the E6750 got standard a higher speed cpu-clock, so i think its possible to clock higher then a Q6600.

But don't know about the multipair (with E6750 max 9x)

But look for a 1333MHz cuz E6600 for example is with lower fsb > Q6600 FSB=1333FSB

where it is all about, what is faster..

A duo core is faster @ the moment in games, so if u buy a new cpu now, buy a duo, cuz in a couple of moths u got the first next-gen cpu's that are faster of course. (Q6600 is 'some older' @ that time)

ur pc should start the cd-device first.. so its reading that windows-cd wants to do something & not read the HDD first, cuz then will Windows start.

U could make a bootcd in stead of a floppy.

If u got a floppy its very easy, just typ some words into google;)
