@voidpointer: Part 2 will remain a Nintendo exclusive. Unless of course Nintendo allows it to be ported to PC. I think at this point they should allow it as long as they can get a cut of the profits.
@metallinatus: For a full blown game 10 hours can be short but for DLC 10 hours is pretty solid. Reminds me of when I played The Old Hunters DLC recently. That took me at least 10 hours to complete maybe longer.
@Keitha313: Feminism is bad for society but their games are still worth playing. Just give them a chance. I will say this...if they go a little too far with this social justice thing in gaming we all have to put a stop to it. For now I say play the games and have fun. Buy them used if anything.
@chris91090: I fully agree. I used to buy all consoles but with time being so limited now in my 30's I had to choose 2 out of the 3 and X1 took a backseat. The 360 left a bad taste in my mouth towards the second half of last gen cause for me I always love exclusives. I can't see myself buying any console just because of power especially when gaming PCs are so cheap to build now.
@chris91090: I agree that choosing a console strictly on hardware is dumb but this generation was about power from the start. Which is the reason we have PS4 Pro/Scorpio. The issue is these machines are still part of the current gen. Games and especially exclusives start to matter a lot more as time goes on.
@chris91090: The reason why power mattered in the beginning is that is when people decide what console they're going to buy. As the generation goes on it really is about the games. The PS4 has a huge install base so Microsoft is going to need more than just power to get people on board.
I think competition is great though and I bet we will see great holiday bundles and sales from Sony and Nintendo this year.
At this point in the generation I really feel it's going to be about the games. Specs matter yes but look how many console exclusives PS4 has already. If Sony continues pumping out exclusives like this then Xbox is in trouble regardless of how powerful their console is. This is reminding me of PS2 vs OG Xbox all over again.
Video games have never stopped me from taking walks/jogs, going to the gym, going to the dojo, taking trips etc. Are gamers really as lazy as people think? I don't know any 'stereotypical gamer' that just sits on his ass all day and plays when not at work.
I think AR and VR have a good future ahead of them and if people choose to be lazy because of new tech that is on them.
@iandizion713: The only Xbox 1 I wish I owned is the Gears 4 edition. I love the color red and that console looked amazing. Other than that 1 I disagree. The first Xbox 1 looked way too big and I don't think the One S looks better than any version of the PS4.
