No Arcade mode no buy. I saw this game used at Gamestop for under $20 and still didn't buy it. I have Injustice 2 and Tekken 7 to look forward to anyway.

I am however happy they are still working on it. By the looks of it they should have delayed the game and not released it a year ago.

@Bread_or_Decide: I remember reading a lot of negative comments about The Last of Us Remastered being released a year later. Sure it included the DLC, 60 fps and better graphics but I do recall people bitching. This is definitely a game of the year edition with a few tweaks but it still doesn't justify the price. The original game came out in 2014. How many GOTY editions come out 3 years later at a full $60 price tag?

Edit: Looked into Skyrim Special Edition and you're right that game released at full retail cost also. Such a damn shame that these companies are doing this. The consumers need to stop paying full price for minor upgrades especially so many years later.

@bdrtfm: I used to be a huge Nintendo fan but you're absolutely right. The fact that they charge $60 for any Switch game is messed up to me. PC/PS4 and even Xbox 1 games fine. The graphics, open worlds, game length etc. justifies the price more than half the time. This game should be no more than $39.99. This is still a game worth buying for Switch owners that never owned Mario Kart 8 before. However, I wish people voted with their wallets when it comes to their games.

@akassassin11: You ain't lying! I recently bought a gaming PC (really good deal on Amazon). CPU is i5-7400 and the GPU is an RX 480 4GB. I checked a lot of sites like Steam, GOG.com, MS Windows store etc. then compared the prices of games to physical PS4 games new and used. I honestly save money buying the physical PS4 games 4 out of 5 times. I know that Steam summer sales will get here and I'll have a change of heart but if I really wanted to buy say DOOM right now the ps4 physical version saves me a lot of money. Both have pros and cons.

Edit: I found a ton of other sites to buy from. I can confirm PC games are way cheaper than console games. Considering they most likely will look and run better (1080p 60fps) you are getting a better version for a lower cost. Plus free online Multiplayer.

@TashunkoSapa: I just got a gaming PC over the weekend and I'm definitely going to buy Xbox games I have been missing out on. I hope they keep supporting the PC. I am at a point in my life where I refuse to own all the consoles or buy them anywhere near their release date. I hope you get that beefy graphics card and have fun. No more paying for Live and if you can hold off for sales you'll save money on games.

@kyelo: I agree. I think Sony is either going to drop the price of the Pro to compete or at the very least bundle the hell out of the PS4 Pro during the holidays. At the end of the day we all win due to competition.

@joshrmeyer: Exactly! Ratchet and Clank (2016) nailed it when it released at that price.

The problem is they marketed this as DLC when it should have just been a spin off. At $39.99 this is exactly what The Lost Legacy is a spin off. Stand alone DLC makes no sense to me. If you don't need to own the main game then it isn't DLC/expansion in my eyes. I am now hoping they can increase the length of this game a bit to justify the price.

@voidpointer: That's how gaming has always been. It's about the exclusives otherwise we would have 1 console manufacturer and they wouldn't be good. Plus Nintendo helped Platinum get part 2 off the ground. What really sucks is that part 3 might also be a Nintendo exclusive. It's like no other company wants to invest in this franchise.
