@Berserk8989: Hooking up a laptop to your TV sounds like a good idea. I should invest in a good gaming laptop and do the same. At least this way I could always play games at 60FPS.
@jessie82: What I didn't like about the old hard games, was the lack of check points; and if you go back far enough to the Nintendo Entertainment System, or Sega master system, you would only get so many lives, and after that, you would have to start the game all the way back from the beginning. Damn did that suck.
@DoucheVader: "I don't think many people are buying Xbox One purely to play last gen games."
I would buy a Nintendo Switch tomorrow if it had backwards compatibility. And I will NOT be buying a Nintendo Switch until it has backward compatibility; or at the very least, remasters all their triple AAA games like the Mario and Zelda/Link games.
It's too bad Microsoft couldn't find a way to bump up the framerate of all their backwards compatibility 360 games. If they could do that, I think it would really help with XBOXONE console sales. I would love to go back and play all the Dead Space games at 60FPS.
I sure hope they fixed the framerate on this one. The framerate on the first Evil Within looked like it was running at 15fps. Still to this day, it t is the most choppy game I've ever played on the PS4.
It would be nice if Gamespot actually told us the framerate when they do reviews. Is that really too much to ask?
