@videogameninja: Yeah, there's nothing wrong at all with a mid size game. I'd much rather play a good 8 hour game, than a repetitive 30+ hour game. The problem with me is that when I start a game, I feel compelled to finish it no mater what.
I'm at the point now that I don't even want to start long games. It's because of long games that I don't enjoy playing videogames as much as I used to. Videogames should be fun, they should not feel like a chore. Of course, if a game really mixed things up, then it wouldn't be a problem if it is long. But most long games just repeat the same formula over and over again.
For me, the perfect game was the new Doom. It was roughly 12 hours long, and throughout the game, they always introduced new enemies, and new weapons.
@customx5: I'll buy the new XBOX if it will be able to play *ALL* games at 60FPS. If not, my console days are done. I've grown to despise 30FPS games. I've put up with it for far too long. I'm just going to buy an affordable gaming PC and hook it up to my TV, and then buy an XBOX PC gamepad.
@rnguyen91: Exactly. 60FPS is the most important thing. All console games need to be optimized to run at 60FPS. Anything less than 60FPS is a broken game.
