I plan on buying this console. But I'm going to wait at least a year. I want to make sure that developers won't still be releasing games running at 30FPS. I could see them going for 8k at 30FPS.

@Byshop: The Arkham combat formula is incredibly boring. I always felt it was the weak point of the series. Anytime I hear a game has that kind of combat formula, like Mad Max did, I steer clear from. It practically feels like a quick time event.

@gifford38: I wouldn't care if if was just an upgrade on the resolution. But I sure would care if it was an upgrade on the framerate. Which is how it was with the PS4 Pro; certain games would run higher framerates.

@gifford38: Except there was no improvement in performance with the XBOXONE S, over the standard XBOX ONE. Just faster load time.

While with certain games, the PS4 Pro offered better performance/framerates.

Next gen, I predict each console will have at least 3 editions. I'll just wait and buy the last edition, or none at all. At least with a computer, you can upgrade your graphics card. With consoles, we're expected to buy an entire new machine.

It never used to be that way.

@systemoverload: I'm going to hold out for the PS5 Pro. Which I'm sure Sony is already working on, since the next XBOX is more powerful.

Won't be buying the new XBOX, either. I'm going to wait till Microsoft launches their new console, shortly after the PS5 Pro is released.

I sure miss the days when there was just one console for each generation. But greedy Sony changed all that when they launched their PS4 Pro cash grab.

I have no idea who he is, but I hope he returns. I'm tired of this cancel culture bullshit.
