You can skip the cutscenes on your second playthough. It's only on your first playthrough are you forced to watch them. Most games these days are designed like this.

I had the same issue, but I found out you can disable the laser mode on the weapon, reverting it to a basic reticile weapon. Check your controls menu to find out how.

You can change your view from left weapon to right weapon, on a controller it's d-pad left or right, not sure about on a keyboard.

I realized this on the second to last chapter. Wish I would have known this earlier on. I think a lot of people aren't aware that you have the ability to change your camera view. It comes in so handy when you're going around corners.

I beat the game on hard(not hardcore), and I unlocked the one bullet kill cheat.

Why not just order the game off eBay?

What you need to ask yourself is, what controller do you prefer, the XBOX or PS3?
