Last night I put up my new anime posters which now rest on a wall overlooking my bed. My mother wanted to see them so I showed her. The first one she noticed was the Death Note one. Now if you've seen the Death Note logo you would notice that the letters A and T are turned on their side and then it says it again in Japanese. When she first seen it she said "Brigette what does that say? It might be something bad:|" I said "It says Death Note mom and there it is written in Japanese too" She just kinda looked at me wondering how in the world I knew that. So I explained to her that its an anime and I like to watch it. She still dosent get it.:lol: My mom and I are so close that talk about almost everything but anime is one thing I cannot discuss with her because she dosent know what it is.:P Parents are funny when it comes to stuff like that.:P
My posters fell off my wall twice last night. I think its because they are laminated that tape dosent hold them up as well. Im not gonna use thumbtacks because they ruin the corners. If they keep falling down Im gonna have to buy frames to put them in.
I started a new anime last night called When They Cry. Im on episode 5. I cant wait to watch more. Things have taken an interesting turn and I cant wait to find out whats going on.
Instead of cookies today, I made muffins! Eat up!

I got my posters today which was a nice suprise because they weren't even supposed to be here yet. Tonight Im gonna have to move around my posters to make room. Right now there is no where to put them.:P I'll try and take a pic once they are put up. Now I must DANCE!!!!
So yesterday after church, we went out to lunch where I completely broke the rules of my diet.:P I had chicken tenders and onion rings and it was the best Ive ever had.:D Well I'll get back on my diet today so no worries. After lunch I came home and read some more manga. At about 6 my dad and I left to go with some other ppl to help the homeless.
The first stop we made there were only a few people when normally there is at least 30. Before we hand out food and blankets and stuff we all get in a circle and pray. Well right before we started my dad told everyone to hold on and turned his head to look at something. We all turned our heads and on there was a homeless guy collapsed on the ground dragging himself towards us so he could get in the prayer circle. One of the guys went over to him to help him up but the homeless guy was so drunk he couldnt stand. Eventually he got him up and sat him back down where he was. We got him some soup but I dont think he ate it. He started crying and then throwing up. There was no way anyone could talk to him. He was so intoxicated that he wasnt even really there. There was nothing any of us could do to help him except do what we can do and give him food and blankets. So we let him sit and try and calm down. A little bit later there was a crash and we turned around to see what it was. The homeless guy had a brown paper bag with a beer bottle in it and he dropped it on the ground. The bottle shattered and the beer started pouring down the parking lot. A little while later he took all his stuff and sat it on the ground and sat on top of it. He covered hisself with his jacket and just crouched down. My dad turned to us and said that the man was most likely going to die in the night. It was supposed to get below freezing and the guys blood alcohol level was so high he would freeze to death. So my dad and about 4 other guys got a bunch of blankets, went over to the guy and picked him up. Then they sat him up against a pillar and wrapped him up as tight as they could. They got him some juice and tried to get him to drink it. Before we left I turned to look at the guy again to see if he was still upright and there was about 3 other homless guys sitting around him helping him get his food and making sure he was okay. I dont know if that man died or not. I just pray that he didnt and that he straightens his life out because the condition he was in last night is not helping him get anywhere. Maybe he'll realize that and seek help.
Whew that was a lot of typing. I bet you didnt even read it.:P

I normally blog around 9 in the morn but I went out this morning and its just now almost 1:30 and I just got home. I went to A.C. Moore and bought some mattes for my frames and an awesome pen set for drawing manga. So I will be testing those out today and framing some of my drawings. Im gonna go to the mall and buy some big collage frames to put my manga and anime drawings in to display. My mother said she would like if I made on for her to put in the hallway too.:D So I really have nothing to say and Im really tired so I think Im gonna go relax and watch a movie. I rented The Simpsons Movie today.:P I hope its good.

I had to take the placement test first, which btw was so easy I couldnt believe it. They placed me in the hardest level for reading and language and the second hardest level for math. Then I took another reading test which I passed so next week I'm probably gonna take the practice GED test for reading and if I pass that then I get to take the real GED test for reading. So I may be done with that part within the next 2 weeks. As for language and math, I didnt have time to take a math test and I took the language one but they gave me the wrong one.:? So I'll have to do that one again either Tuesday or Thursday. I hope to have my GED within 2 months. They say the fastest amount of time you could get it is 2-3 weeks but Im worried that math is my weakest skill and needs to be worked on so that may take time.
I watched the 2nd Death Note movie last night. It was good but it was very different from the anime. I dont know how different it was from the manga because I still havent read it yet. The endings in the movie and the anime were very different and I prefer the ending in the anime. I want to buy both of those movies. Ebay, here I come.:P
I want to change my cartliage piercing. My hair keeps getting caught in the ring I have in now and it pulls on it which makes it hurt.:? Im not gonna change it though. I have already changed it once and the swelling just went down from that experience. Also I dont think I was even supposed to change it yet and I cant keep changing it out after only a month so I guess I'll have to learn to live with it. I'll survive.
I didnt get to talk to my friend again when I came home. She had already signed of AIM which I figured would happen. I hope she signs on tonight since that's the only time I'll be able to talk to her without any distractions.

Nothing of importance happened to me yesterday so I really have nothing to say. I finished the first Death Note movie a couple of days ago and I'm an hour into the second one. I liked the first one a lot and the second one is good too but it seems like things are going kinda fast. I cant wait until the third one comes out. I told Colmillios that Im gonna marry the guy that plays L. He's hawt.:P
I may start watching Bleach again.

I just now talked to my friend that I told you guys about. We havent talked about her drug problem but thats okay. I dont want to scare her off. I did tell her that I found her secret xanga page and she was shocked to know that I found it. She isnt mad at me though. That was something I was afraid of. Anyways I hope to talk to her more tonight after I get home from my GED course. I need to open up to her to let her know that I used to be troubled too. Even though I never did anything like she is doing now, I still feel her pain. We havent talked in a long time so it's understandable that she dosent want to tell my a whole lot right now. I hope this goes over well.
Before I get to the weird but cool thing I have lots of stuff to say and show.
First off, I got a call from my grandmother yesterday with some news I never would've expected to hear. Awhile back I did a painting for her sorority of yellow roses and music sheets (if you want to see one similar to it go to my DA page and click on A Symphony of Roses in my gallery). The painting was then presented at their annual thing where they run a booth and sell stuff. The painting sold for $25. It was small so whatever. Anyways, yesterday my grandmother recieved an email saying that the City Council loved it so much they want to honor me at their Founder's Day thing next month and get my picture published in their magazine.:o I was shocked. Finally I am being recognized by people who like me enough to put my face in a magazine. I may have to do another painting since we sold the original.:? I honestly hate painting that one because it hurts my back when I paint the lines and notes but whatever Im being honored!
I did another drawing last night. Here is is. Its Haruka from Tactics. Can you tell that that's a moon? I dont shade a lot so I kinda had to just go with it.
Okay now for the something weird but cool part. You're probably only gonna care if you're a Death Note fan.
I was drinking some lemonade in a glass and when I was drinking I noticed something at the bottom of it that looked like the letter L. I finished drinking it and noticed the L looked very similar to the one that L uses when he talks on the computer.
And thats all thats on the bottom of the glass. The letter L. It's like a calling from L himself....
Yesterday I was promoted to officer in the D.B.N.O. Union! So now you have to come join! We are still looking for an artist to make us banners, sigs and union tags. I think if we have those made that will help us a whole lot. We are gonna start some contests, games, etc so come by and check us out please! Remember, I give out cookies and I could easily drop them all on the floor:evil:....So like I said, Come join us!!!!

I added 2 new animes to my anime list yesterday. I started watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Tactics. TMHS is good but a little weird so far. Haurhi is so bossy. I feel sorry for that poor girl she keeps harassing. Tactics I have seen on SciFi and decided to watch it from the beginning and it is real good so far.
I ordered my posters yesterday. I can't wait until they get here but until then Im gonna have to make room for them in my walls. When I told my mom I ordered 3 new posters first she got on me for spending more money. She dosent know much about anime or anything but she knows it's gonna empty my bank account if I keep spending money on it.:P Then she asked me where I was gonna put them since I dont have any room on my walls.:P I'll figure it out soon enough.:P
Im gonna try and work my stupid scanner today.
