It's a scam. You get Pandora but you have to pay $10 for it. And, good luck finding out how to cancel the subscription before your 30 day trial is up, took me quite a while. You'd think it would be in the "account" or "subscription" controls on qriocity.com or on the PS3, but you'd be wrong.

+1. LG Boycott all the way. Don't think I'm not talking trash at my tech company letting everyone know what LG is doing.

I just started the free trial (just gotta cancel before the 30 days is up). The free trial is for their "premium" membership.

I must be spoiled by Netflix, but I don't see much value in this product. You can get everything Qriocity has to offer for free. Perhaps it is convenient, but $10 a month is pretty stiff for what they actually offer.

Sony said they have a 10 year plan for PS3. Its been 4 years and 2 months. So i'd say not even close. I still think we have yet to see the true power the PS3 can push out. I pray they use up that 10 years before even announcing a PS4, i want as much use of my $500 investment as possible.

Sony will continue to support the PS3, even when they come out with the PS4. The fact is, handheld devices will soon be ecplipsing the hardware power of the current consoles. If Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo have any chance of staying relevant in the gaming industry, they'll have to get off their butts before 2012 or they leave the door WIDE open for any start up company from nowehere to come in and steal the entire market.

Sony's response to this will determine how I feel about the PS3 being hacked. If Sony decides to go on the offensive and shove security-only firmware updates down my machine's throat then I'm going to be forced to support whoever is willing to develop the platform. If Sony wants to devote all their resources to locking down the PS3 and abandon improving it, then I have no moral qualms about what I do with my hardware. In the unlikely event that Sony decides to accept the inevitable and combat it with continued improvements and benefits for staying legit, then I'd be more than willing to keep my support with them. As a previous owner of a PSP I know exactly what to expect out of Sony.

I just picked up a PS3 for Christmas, I got a smoking deal ($75) for the 160GB Model at Walmart. I'm a dedicated PC Gamer and Steam user, I have 60+ games in my library. My PS3 will serve as mostly a Blu-Ray/Netflix streamer, but I wouldn't mind to use it for a few games if things were more "reasonable". My Steam library, although decent size didn't cost me very much. I look at what I would have to pay Sony for an equivalent library and it easily reaches 4x the amount I spent. With Sony and Steam now being friendly, I hope Steam can teach Sony a few things. Until then, I'll just keep purchasing 100% of my games for PC (and Sony can keep the pittance they made on the hardware).
