[QUOTE="peterw007"][QUOTE="lightleggy"] Sarcasm I hope? nintendo games are always the same even in plot...Richymisiak
Take a look at Super Mario Sunshine. (2002)
Now take a look at Super Mario Galaxy. (2007)
You TELL me to my face that isn't sheer innovation.

By Nintendo I'm referring to Nintendo EAD's titles (Mario, Zelda, those kind of games)
The reason people haven't gotten tired of Mario after 25 years is because the series is always innovating with new, fresh ways to approach a classic concept.
Every Mario game is different and unique in its own way.
COD is just the same engine, tweaked and modified, with new perks to entice people to buy the game.
After a while, the series all just blurs together. Because every game is virtually the same, it becomes hard to distinguish between them.

Now I agree, there are some second-party companies affiliated with Nintendo (Game Freak + Pokemon for example) who rehash to no end.
But the core Nintendo branches always search for new ways to innovate and improve.
super mario galaxy super mario galaxy 2 oh waithahaha nice one
