I am planning on upgrading my current computer. I was wondering which one of these processors I should get:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ 3.2 GHz

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz

I can get the processor, motherboard, and 2GB memory for about $500-$550, so I am just wondering about the CPU I should get. Also, instead of the 6400+, should i get the 6000+ instead?

Thanks!

(How much better will the Intel perform over the AMD?)

Do you guys participate in Online Survey's?

(I always see them where you can earn $20-$50 per survey but you have to pay $75 to start out.)

What would be the best SLI Motherboard that could handle 2 8800 GTX's, a Sound Card, and a Wireless Card?

If there are none, What would be the best board for just SLI for the 2 8800 GTX-s?

(AMD AM2 Processor)

I am planning on getting the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ and I was wondering what the best CPU cooler for it would be? (The CPU on Newegg doesn't come with one, that's why).

I was wanting to get a new AMD motherboard. I was already going to put in a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ CPU and DDR2 800 Memory in it. I was wondering what I should do about my expansion card problem. I was wanting to put in SLI, 2 8800 GTX. I also need to have a wireless card and a sound card fit in also. Since the graphics cards take up two slots in area and the sound and wireless cards take up one slot in area. I can't find a Motherboard that will fit all of these cards in it.

I was looking on Newegg and I came onto to this $2400 graphics card. is there really a point to buying this card when you can get a 8800 Ultra for between $600 and $800?
