Too much truth in this post. If review scores and Gamespot were the end all be all, I would of never played Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, which happens to be one of my favorite Wii games. Gamespot gave it a 6.5. But like this poster says, I know what I like. And I ended up enjoying quite a bit.

I wouldn't expect high review scores. I suspect many reviewers will miss the point and try to play the game by waving the controlled in the demented fasion required by 90% of Wii games.

I also suspect Gamespot will be one of said reviewers, and will give the game 8.0 or lower as a result.

Sounds encouraging when the reviewer is enjoying the game too much to review it. Although the bit about isolated islands with the odd treasure chest sounds a bit too much like the sea in Wind waker for my liking...

That's not to say I don't think it'll be any good. I just don't think reviewers will take to it very kindly.
