How could all these details be extracted from a demo? Don't demos just contain segments of the game? @SuperFlakeman - I am generally trying to avoid spoilers but I did treat myself to yours. I wonder if the >SPOILERS!< takes you to the >MORE SPOILERS< Either way >EVEN MORE SPOILERS< Meinhard1

Thanks for that Meinhard. I think SuperFlakeman put that under a spoiler tag for a reason. Ok that might not have stayed secret for long but stil....

Yes what? You do like them or you don't? I couldn't tell from your post.

Learn 2 read topic title.

It's sarcasm, friend. I mean you could simply have said that you dislike the game and moved on, rather than throwing teddy from the pram.

You are welcome to your opinion, I take it on trust that you have actually played both games. But writing an essay on how anyone who likes them is wrong, stupid or worst of all a fanboy seems a little silly, don't you think?

But even if the Wii has sold 89 million and the PS3 55 million, 55*450USD is more money than 89*225USD. 450 and 225 USD and average PS3 and Wii price through their lifetimes.ShiningGlint

May I humbly recommend that you look up the definition of "profit margin"

In the UK, when we ask for a "rubber" we mean a pencil eraser. Remember that as it could save your life.

This kind of thing isn't unique or even especially new- I've had sales staff try to talk me out of every Nintendo console purchase since the N64 days. It's never happened with any other console strangely enough.

Of course they always try to push me towards something else that's already on sale or to make a pre-order. They aren't so mind-numbingly thick as to push me towards something that isn't out for 6 months.

I'm tempted to pay the TC a visit to buy a PS3. I don't really need a second one, but it would be interesting to see if he tells me about any shiny new consoles expected next year.

A Nintendo game gets an 8.5 on gamespot? There's a shocker.

REPORT: 99% of system wars users don't click the link before commenting:

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Of those who had not used the Wii in the last six month:

41 percent: Didn't have the time

29 percent: The Novelty has worn off

22 percent: moved onto Kinect or PlayStation Move

----------------------------------------------------------------------

(emphasis mine)

So of those who say they don't use their Wii, nearly half don't have the time for it. I'm guessing those people don't have much time for any other consoles either. Presumably they have jobs.

You lot are acting like 50% of Wii owners have upgraded to Move/Kinect. But it says right there 22%, and that's out of the 48% who say they don't use the Wii anymore. In other words 147 out of 1672 people. Wow.

(EDIT: just realised that should be 48% out of the 1070 Wii owners, not the whole lot, so the maths is wrong. But you get the idea.)

I also suspect, given the poll was run by myvouchercodes, that most of the respondents were soccer mums. In what other demographic would you find 39% of people who still play Wii fit?

And this boys and girls, is why polls and statistics are useless for any meaningful argument.

They wanted to go with "Sony does what Nintendoes", but this one was more subtle.
