It has bad hit detection because of the fact the games are so large scale

Compared to previous resident evils, the demo for resi 5 was pathetic, the a.i seemed slow and boring, the combat is dire, the horror aspect is gone and the controls are ridiculous. L4d is good to play with friends but there are alot of issues that Valve need to sort out. It has a good replay value and online is very fun. I suppose i can only come up with a basic view on resi 5 since the real game isn't out but i certainly won't be getting it. (the 'zombies' are now just infected not the traditional zombies just like resi 4)

well it depends on your idea of the word scary. the only really 'scary' thing about the game is dark indoor envoiroments with the odd ghoul.

Some good advice in here... heed spliff's words if i were you ;) The most important thing to remember: if you go ahead with the upgrade proposed by spliff, not only will you see a HUGE difference performance-wise in Crysis, but you'll have a solid system armed with a powerful processor and GPU, therefore you won't have to worry about upgrading again for a long time. Lastly, there's massive OCing potential with both that Intel CPU and 8800GT. You can't go wrong.

I'm very close to getting a 4850, but the heat problems are seriously stopping me; that horribly small fan and single slot cooler are holding me back, bigtime. Does anyone know if any manufacturer is going to adress this issue - e.g. double slot cooling solution w/ bigger fan? Cheers.

all game after 2006 are sli performance increase watch what ur say.
nvidea mean to be play (this logo in entering official announce the game is gonna perform sli : wow & even the sims 2
spore : anything. you can think off as performance increase on sli as long it as 1600x1200 & 1920x1200 monitor feature
else you may not even see the difference since most of 8800gT + video card can support 1280x1024 no lag. all high or almost all high so my point of view sli is for 1600x1200 1920x1200 monitor and it seem to outperform crossfire for money. budget
but not ever-one spend 2000$ on computer i agree on that but that my choice
there is other thing you can spend money : Sport equipment : pass for all season on mountain for snowboard 500$
a new snowboard 500$ here. : helmet : pads : another 400$
cloth : 200-300$ : life is really expensive there some pant of snowboard that my cousin paid. 200$ 250$ the Vest
300$ the helmets : snow-glass : 50$ and it can go on on what he get for bike 700$ bike
300$ of Zoo york cloth : Skateboard part. he waste money on something he like instead of pc. he as social life with over 20 friend
he got o party all week end we don't have all that chance to have a social life and spend 2000$ on cloth & gear. we instead put it into computer that what i believe =(

680i = ok 16x pci-E 1.0 sli 780i = Sli well 2x pci 2.0 16x 790i not sure 3x 16 but i think TWO PCI-E 2.0 And one PCI-E 1.0 it compatible cross-using from 1.0 to 2.0 and still offer good tri sli

LOOOL, OHHH MAN! PLEASE CARRY ON! You sir, have made my day... I'm nearly crying here!

Edit: Oops, on topic: Keep your setup. It's fine as it is. As other people have suggested, however, perhaps spend a bit of money on an aftermarket cooler and OC. If I had alot of money to spend, I'd probs get a nice monitor/speakers.

Well according to the FAQ on Samsung's site -

19/21/24" LCD monitors:

"Outside the 14 days of purchase if you have 1 or more dead pixels anywhere on the screen we will replace it for you under warranty."

It doesn't say 20" LCDs, but I'd have to guess they are included in that, so you should be able to get a replacement if I'm reading this correctly.

Thank god. I'm living in the UK though; would this warranty still apply to me?

I don't believe this... I've just built my brand new PC and I get this. I've tried that Jscreen and it hasn't worked. Can I get a replacement? I've got a 3 year warranty with this monitor...

there are pixel fixer programs which BTW don't look at the screen when it fixes it, can cause you to go blind. Though if it doesn't fix it its permanent.

TrooperManaic

Nice one mate, can you link me with some good ones? Jesus man are you serious about getting blind though? :O
