My brother has had this same problem, still does I think. Hmm... make sure your video card is clean, check the heatsink and fan. But I was thinking that it's a PSU problem. What PSU are you using?

I didnt like it. It felt like 6 or 7 year old gameplay with better graphics and a few nice additions.

If what you were looking for was an updated formula to AoE, then yeah, i guess you'll like AoE 3. AoE 2 has some flaws they never really fixed in part 3.

RK-Mara

That's why so many like it. Including me. I'm not a big RTS fan myself, so I like the simple gameplay in AoE.

Yeah, exactly. It's extremely user-friendly, and there are so many different strategies.

I have to disagree, it really does feel much better. Visually, the game is fantastic. But I just love the gameplay aswell. Especially with the inclusion of a "deck" in AoE III. One massive flaw that comes to mind in AoE II was bombard towers... christ, they were so powerful. I just built loads. In III though, they are much less imposing. Oh, and there's nothing like feeling the pressure when an enemy fort is right beside your town :D I love building up a small army and gathering loads of Petards to bring the **** down...

Really gripping game... does anyone still play this beast of a game? I mean ever since I've got my new PC I've been buying a few games... and AoE III kicks ass. British FTW! My Home City is currently level 19, and I'm looking forward to that Yeoman upgrade! Imperial Longbowman FTW! My favourite mercenaries include Elmetis, Scottish Highlanders and Swiss Pikemen. Back in the days I used to play AoE II, but III is WAY BETTER. What about you people? Still play this game? I LOVE IT!
