So what's the difference between a trial version of the full game. And playing the full game early?

Or are they saying it's the same as usual just only 3 days before?

I said this before it was confirmed and I stand by it now. This is bundled as of now(as was kind of obvious it would be) and a couple months down the line it will be released as a standalone.

They want to bundle it in so people A. buy the new one and B. MW does not diminish sales number of the new one. But give it until around e3 of next year or around the announcement of the next cod and it will be standalone. At that time all the sales they would get from new one would be slowing up so to keep relevant and keep the profits coming in that's when they will drop the remastered by itself.

@joe_b1_kenobi: I really do understand your logic in this. I do.

However when you have that type of logic then technology is definitely not something you should be into that much. Technology changes fast- between phones/computers/tv's you will always be outdated about 5-6 months later.

So what I was trying to say is either get the new one so you feel you are not outdated- or don't and be happy with what you have until you can upgrade. No other choices really

@Vojtass: Yeah im thinking late 2017 as well, if not then around may(like witcher) 2018. They have been working on this game for a long time now, They are mentioning because of their success with Witcher they are making it even more ambitious but does not mean they are starting from scratch.

@blkninja43: Well you also have to remember that Infinity ward was starting to get into the financial situation with Activision around that time. So after MW2 everything went to hell and that game really had no one to watch over it. Mod war 1-2 are the best cod games but when you lose the entire team that made it it's hard to maintain it. A remaster with a different team will hopefully make it great again.

@ninjaxams: Which is exactly why they are bundling it with their new game, put it side by side with a new title and it would be overshadowed by mod war. They almost certainly will release this standalone at some point, probably mid year to avoid the new game and the newer game the next year. However at first it would steal sales away from Infinite warfare so they have to bundle to up it's sales and not steal it.

Can't wait and the minute mod war 2 gets remastered, all hell will break loose!

Mod War 1-2 were the best COD games multiplayer wise. The hit detection was spot on. I have not got into Cod past few years but playing mod war again would bring me back in. sadly I get into the cod hype and buy every year, play for a little and that's it, with BO3 being worse for me. Got it, played maybe two weeks and never again. This year should be a good year for gaming/shooters, with gears of war, ghost recon, Mafia 3, and if this mod war rumor is true.

I know im late to this party but I just discovered how awesome this game is. How exactly do you cross platform play with friends on PC? Would like to play with some people who have on PC but I have it on ps4
