@VakarianGirl: You know I am actually with you on this one. Last year I was really excited about the premise of this one... and with horizon not demoing well had no interest in that. This year they swapped- I have lost interest in this but horizon has my interest now.
@lukey52: I am along the same path as you... I know they had a good showing hell it was better then last years by far, but for me i did not get excited over a lot of the games. I am more excited for the xbox games coming..... but thats why it is good to have both!
Detroit and horizon were the only two that really did anything for me this year. Interested in Kojima game but they showed nothing so don't know. Days gone looks good but again- what is it? They showed absolutely nothing. Is it like last of us aka story driven or is it an open world game like state of decay or something?
So while I did like a couple to me xbox had more games I am excited for.
@JJMikhail: my brother just bought one last week for $600.
They are getting cheaper now. If this system is as powerful as they are saying and it doesn't cost $700 then I would consider picking one up even if I trade in the one
@kee1haul: I think I prefer the remaster of those two. The team who ran it no longer there and servers from what I remembered went to hell. Atleast this way hopefully we get atleast newer servers with a new team monitoring it. Best COD games in mod war and 2
@razor_rj: short version- shenmue features a young man who witnesses his farther die by the hands of another man. He then seeks revenge by seeking out the man throughout his journey and must take jobs are the city to pay for his plane ticket and other expenses.
Long- and reason why almost everyone loves the series.
Shenmue was one of the first true "open world games". You could go to the arcade if you want- you could work at the docks if you wanted. You could just walk around the city. People had daily routines and lived their own lives. It had day / night cycles where stores would open at specific times and close at specific time. Fully voiced - basically all the things you find in today's rpg/open world elements were found in shenmue.
The second was left on a huge cliffhanger so people have been waiting on this for a long long time
I know this is a long time since your comment- but I hope that helped.
