Battlefield has historically been a different experience than any of the COD series. Not even counting the fact that EA is behind Battlefield, I think COD will continue to reign supreme. Now, if we were talking on the PC, that's another story.....
My girlfriend loves the Wii I got her for her graduation present. She likes the Wii sports and Wii Play, along with Mario Kart and Mario party. For your 360 I would suggest Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Try party games like those first and try to ease her into the "better" stuff. Good luck!
There are lots of playstation ports that come to the PSP. Not to mention movies, music, pictures, web browsing. I think the PSP is for more hardcore gamers, the DS is nice to pick up once in a while but I'm in love with my PSP. Can you play GTA on your DS?
I have had HL2 for my PC since it came out, I bought the Orange Box for the other games that came with it. It was also fun playing through HL2 again on the big screen!
CoD4, R6V2 is garbage, utter and complete garbage. Very buggy, graphics are terrible, story is second rate, online play is very sub-par. I own both games and will be trading in R6. I like tactical shooters but I was VERY disappointed by R6V2, get GRAW2 over R6.
