Are the cards below 79xx based on the new design? I was under the impression that they would pretty much be a die shrink of the current 6xxx cards... I could easily be wrong though... I wouldn't mind if the 7850 was a die shrunken 6950.

My vote would be Spirit Tracks. Some of the dungeons were fun, but I didn't care for the controls (this goes for Phantom Hourglass too), and I HATED the train. Hated to the point that I couldn't finish the game. I refuse. It is easily the worst Zelda game.
On a side note, I didn't really get into the oracle games. I got bored for some reason. Haven't finished either.
Zelda II wasn't so bad in my mind, just hard. So I haven't finished that one either. Got bored with Zelda I. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I had played it on the NES with the map, and could have easily taken notes about where things were.
I think the trilogy is definately worth the money. I have to say though, that after I beat the first 2, I was metroided out, and couldn't make myself do it a 3rd time. Not yet anyway.
Anyway, if you don't really like metroid games I'm not sure either of them would be worth it for you.
Good for you. Junk food will kill you if that's all you eat. It'll just take several years.
As far as advice, try new things. I tried brussel sprouts and at first they were just ok. Now I think they're great. Vegetables are harder to get than fruit, because they don't taste quite as good. It takes some effort. Try making salads with tons of veggies for a good meal.
I put fresh fruit (peaches, bananas, apples) on oatmeal in the morning, with ground flax to add some good omega 3's. You don't really need anything else to sweeten it.
Someone already recommended almonds, and I would second that. Make your own trail mix with unsalted nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts, any you like) and raisins or craisins. Baby carrots are a good snack.
I would also warn about relapses. When we started eating healthy, we didn't want to be complete health nuts, and said we would eat food when people offered it to us and what not. We still do. Just know that when you taste that chip again, the cravings will come back really strong. So if you don't feel strong enough to resist, don't take the offer.
The only way I would be happy with it is if they do it like valve, and offer it for free. I already paid for the game. Why do I need to fork over another $15 on top of the $60 I paid for 4 new maps? I don't like being nickled and dimed like that. I miss the days when people could easily make their own map for a game and offer it online.
I don't think DLC is worth it. I'd rather have a full game when I pick it up.
Looking at the posts above. He He. Wow. And to think years ago, I was happily playing a flight sim that ran in the sub 10 fps. It's so much better now.;)

I play an old DOS game (Descent 1 and 2) where the homing missles used to adjust according to frame rate. The higher the rate, the more likely you were to be hit. People didn't notice until they were playing on much more powerful computers, and couldn't dodge them. Ever. Now the source code is out, and there are people who fixed that little problem.
As far as what I prefer, I usually like it to be about the same as my monitor refresh. I can't stand it if it drops below 30. At least for FPS games. For RTS, I play supreme commander 2 at 1080p on high with a HD 4670. Don't have any idea what the fps are, but it's easily playable.
[QUOTE="ryguy64"]Similar in most games depending on the resolution, but the 945 is noticeably better overall. Also, idk if you can overclock the 95watt tdp version much and it's not a black edition so don't expect unlocked multipliers.I found one here (http://www.nextwarehouse.com/item/?874899). I've never dealt with that company though.
If anyone knows, how would this rate against a phenom II 840? I realize the 840 is just a rebranded athlon x4, but I'm just curious.

Thanks. Although it looks like finding either one is going to be difficult. It seems like they are discontinuing them. Sad day.

World of Goo really is as good as everyone says. Awesome game. If you have a computer, try the demo, then decide. Just google it.
Ocarina of Time is another excellent choice. Majora's Mask is a great follow up to it.
I have a biostar motherboard that has a max TDP of 95W. I didn't realize that when I bought it. The best processor I can upgrade to is a phenom ii X4 840, which is basically an athlon X4. The difference is that there is no level 3 cache. It is 95W though, and should work in your friend's motherboard. I would check with the vender though, and see if it is supported.
