By setting the minimum and maximum size to the same value, you are basically ensuring that the page file never moves from it's physical location on the drive.

Assuming that, everyone's advice to put the page file on the fastest drive is sound.

Partitioning a single drive to accomodate for your pagefile is usually not a good idea, since partitioning in general slows down the drive.

So in a normal case, on a computer with a single hard-drive, the best course of action is to set the pagefile sizes after a fresh format, to make sure it will not move in the future, and put it as close as possible to the front of the drive.

Most tweak sites suggest to set the miniumum and maximum value to 2.5x of your maximum RAM. So if you have 1024MB of ram, you would set your minimum and maximum page file size to 2560MB.

For $100, and for gaming purposes, I'd say it's a great deal. The front panel, imo, is worth the price alone. Even though the uses of the front panel may not be clear right now, I would venture to guess they'd come into use in the future, and you may be glad that you have it.

How Exactly Do You Overclock A Mouse ?? o.O

Ephexis

You basically change the frequency (Hz) of the USB port that you're using to connect your mouse with. It can be done with a program.

Considering everything else, the problem might not be so much your computer, but the Battlefield games themselves.

I know a couple of friends on X2 3800+'s that have heavy stuttering issues with the game, to the point where it is unplayable. Everything else runs perfectly fine for them, though.

Try some other games and see if you have similar results.

If you like the look and feel of Logitech mice, then the MX500 is probably the cheapest/best deal you can get on a gaming mouse.

An overclocked MX500 is only second place to the recent Razer Deathadder:
Link.

Lag is pretty subjective. What kind of FPS readings are you getting? Any stuttering of any sort too?

If you're happy with the mouse, there should be no reason to switch.

If you're unhappy with it however, be it performance or ergonmics, or you're a low-sensitivity FPS gamer, check out this list:

Come to think of it, I don't think I've installed any drivers for my mobo.

So when I go to SiS.com and go through the step by step do I go Win Xp-> AGP(GART) Driver -> AGP(GART) Driver ?

slipknot-maggot

Yes, that probably would work. But just to be safe, I would go to your motherboard's website, and download the AGP driver from there.

As other's said, the hammer-ons and pull-off's are a lot easier in GH2.

However the downside is, if you go with number 2 first, and then play number 1 later, it might feel a little "dated." In my opinion, play number 1 first.
