I'm having an extremely frustrating time trying to get my PS3 online. My Xbox 360 works just fine, but for some reason my PS3 just won't cooperate. I'm using a wireless connection. Every time I do a test connection it fails to find my IP address. I've tried to do this automatically and manually but the connection test fails for both. For some reason my IP address keeps changing. I'm not very skilled with computers so keep it simple. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

you try turning the power off your router? diconnect power and disconnect the ethernet cable from ps3 to router wait 30 secs then connect power to router wait another 30 secs or so till the lights on the router are stable then reconnect the cable from ps3 to router try again with any luck that might do the trick :)

Why don't you do something special for her on Valentine's?cyberdarkkid

That could work...a little. If he backs off from her and dosen't try to pursue anyone else so she see's him with another girl. By Valitines day she might be wondering why you've backed off and will more less miss you more. Then surprise on Valitines Day.

All I'll say is that "might" get you back together for now. The long run still most likey won't end up with you guys together!

I thought about doing that. And now I guess I will. Just a little teddy bear to add to her collection[3 so far, 4 when its valentines day.]

awe a little teddy bear.....thats so WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! dont do it man, read my post above its a bad move. leavin yourself wide open for more hurtin believe me!!

Well, me and my ex broke up about 2 weeks ago...
The reason we "broke up" was because she said that she needs more time to mature for a relationship like this. I still have feeling for her, and I still think it's meant to be, and just a week after the break up, she still said she thinks its meant to be. Now... she doesn't even look at me at school, let alone talk to me. I've heard from her friends that she doesn't even know what she want's[that being, a relationship with me, or with someone else].
I've been trying my best to move on, but because of her still thinking it's meant to be, then I don't feel right moving on...
What do I do?

s1wel

whats she's doing is a ****c string along case you have to accept that this is over and move on bro coz if you dont your liable to get even more hurt for her, the relationship has no future but she still has feelings there for you so instead of doing the rite thing by giving you a clean break, she' stringing you along so you dont get with another girl which would hurt her in a way, you get me?? distance yourself for a while, spend time with friends, even go on a date if the chance comes, if she realy still wants you, you'll hear from her ;)

damn html bug screwd up my para structure!!!

[QUOTE="ktseymour"]

I've checked around for the one system that ment alot to me, not the first I've owned but ment more because I busted my ass at the local grociery store for 2 or 3 weeks to get the Sega Genesis at the local Best Buy. The prices vary greatly from 100 dollars to 30.00 for something in good condition.

The games on the other hand all seem to be set at fairly high ( at least the ones I owned) prices, even on Ebay. Although most people, I'd imagine won't bother with the physical hardware, and will get the emulators and roms.

Me,on the other hand, having owned most of the systems ever produced at the time they were made, have some sentimental value. So I'm willing to pay a little more for them, plus now I can afford it. I guess lately I've been going through somewhat of a second child hood. I know... it's weird, but one day you happen to see an old game, or something from the past and it brings you back to simpler times without all the worries of adulthood, and most of your worries just melt away.

So, yah I guess some people will pay quite a bit for those little platic time machines. Of course it has to be within reason, or the illusion is just ruined.

Most of the games then were in the 30-50 dollar range, with a few that were around 80-100, PSIV comes to mind and the gold cart for Zelda was also higher than it should have been. The main reason these games even cost that much back then was the cost of memory, or the ROM chips they were stored on. This is why, even with the higher cost of development, that 60 dollars is to high for games these days, and anyone who says different is full of S**T. After they jacked the price to 60 dollars, the trade papers were full of stories about the sky-rocketing profits these companies were bringing in after tha. Not something sites like these are likely to post.

nice try haha!! and no its not weird atol....well not to me at least. i have many fond memories just like the ones your talking bout. ty for the detailed response, though never had the genesis myself so theres no sentimental value there with me!
